when i was post op after top surgery i had a good friend there with me to help recover. but the nurse didnt get the memo and when i woke up she was like “ok i’m gonna go get your girlfriend and bring her in to see you!” and i remember being so zonked on anesthesia and so disoriented i just laid there thinking wow…… all that an they’re bringing me a girlfriend too this place is amazing

fanny's backstory is just. so sad?? she had so many hopes and dreams and had to give them all up because nobody thought that a young woman like her would actually be able to achieve anything so she was married off and all of her dreams slowly dissipated until eventually she became that which she despised and never got to do anything she really wanted to and it was all because she was a woman and it's just so so horrible and awful and she deserved so much better
People are forgetting that qForever and qCellbit are the ones who went directly against the Federation and suffered the consequences. They don't trust the Federation but they have more chance do impactful changes when they are playing by the rules because they dont have power enough to go against It.
It doesn't matter what revolutionary ideas you have, the Federation it's still more powerful than everyone.
In the span of one day, Ramon nearly died jumping off the wall, narrowly saved the other eggs from certain death, then watched the building they (AND HIM) were in just moments prior get fucking obliterated. And as the cherry on top he learned his father was an undercover spy whose motives could place both their lives in jeopardy, being saddled with the secret. Oh and he was also forced to kill his father to help Forever even though he didn't want to.

- julian is a nightmare on twitter. the less said about that the better

- the captain has whatsapp - you would not believe how much wheedling that took on kitty's end - and that is IT. he does send kitty funny cat memes, however
- fanny begrudgingly downloaded facebook (and then undownloaded it in a huff a week later), but spent more time analysing the (now disastrous) coding behind twitter than actually using it
- humphrey mostly uses social media to post his art and pretty landscape photography, occasionally interrupted by posts about how much he loves his wife and how lucky he is to have the friends that he does
- robin does not have social media. he also does not appear to have a phone number. or an address. if you want to talk to him, you'll have to communicate the old-fashioned way (semaphore flags). failing that, you'll just have to hunt him down
