maybe an unpopular opinion but.... Azirpahle was pretty justified in the "I forgive you" blow.
And it was a blow, it was meant to sting. You can see how hurt he was after the kiss but he stopped himself from voicing his initial reaction and stealed himself to throw what he expected to be the final punch of the match.
I don't blame him at all - the kiss was unkind and selfish. The kiss was for Crowley to act out his desperation and he did so without thinking of how it would make Aziraphale feel. And honestly I don't blame him either, but if he's going to hit like that we can't blame Aziraphale for hitting back.
Guys I just had an epiphany about this scene. A lot of people have been speculating as to why Aziraphale decided to put his hand on Crowley here (just to touch him?? to stim?? because he craves touch?? all of the above??).
And it hit me today while looking at a couple of gifsets over and over (because I am Normal).
I think this is Michael touching David, not Aziraphale touching Crowley.
We all know David is very very blind when he is wearing both the glasses and the contacts (like he is in this scene). And there's an extra (in the red blouse) that is about to walk in front of them. David is still kind of edging forward while she continues walking in front of them. But David immediately stops once Michael puts his hand on his chest. Because Michael noticed her and subconsciously put his hand on David to stop him from crashing into this poor extra lol.
Just imagine how awful it might have been if we'd been at all competent.

Let's look how in season 1 his walk has a lot more "cool rockstar" vibes, while in season 2 he has the same swagger but it tends towards being bouncier and carefree. It's fascinating that there is a big change in Crowley between seasons, probably because he doesn't have to do bad things anymore. He's not proving himself to Hell. He's free to do whatever he wants and he's definitely happier. (INSP)
