On the one hand, Maes is lucky that part of the military uniform is gloves, perfect for hiding his 'ultimate lance' ability hands! On the other hand... this boy is going to accidentally destroy so many gloves, I swear. By the end of it it's going to be less 'how did you come back from the dead' and more 'how and why do you keep tearing your gloves at the fingertips?'
he’s trying his best.
for the record, i think he probably can use the ultimate lance/spear/blade/whatever without the gloves, but without the muscle memory he doesn’t really know how. somehow the gloves help.
