saw you were brainrotting on pupupu train, even tho I'm not into it, pls tell me, what is it about and why u like it so much? (genuinely curious)

hello! i am here to educate the public masses about my favorite thing in the entire world 😁

kirby pupupu train was one of the many merch lines for the franchise, active from 2016-2020 here in japan that featured many kirby characters as train station staff! merch popped up in many train stations around the country. i was never able to see this in real life, but i'm desperately hoping it makes a revival sometime.

i like it so much because it combines two of my favorite interests, kirby and trains! if anyone knows me, they know i love japanese commuter rail.... oughh.

it was a really fun and cute merch line, if it came back for even one more season i would be so happy 🥲

love ignoring things ‘have you seen this terrible show’ no im the ignorer ‘can you believe what that celebrity tweeted yesterday’ i am the ignorer

thinking about bein a kiddo with adhd being told i was careless but i actually cared a ton and couldn't remember things well.

*shrug* only thing to be done is to be nicer to myself and the people that come after me.

ah well.

but you know,

you ever think about how like, a tree grows from a sapling, and you cut a tree, and see the rings, and the sapling is still in there. i think you can say things to the kid you. they still are in there. you can say "you're a good kid" to yourself now, even if its a little late.

Man. The flagrant lack of critical reading skills and basic reading comprehension just makes me sad. There's a lot of joy in reading the English language that these people are missing out on. There's a clear INTEREST in reading and I feel like if we could just get people off this anti-intellectual streak everyone would be having much more fun reading Metamorphosis AND Twilight.

I genuinely hate this attitude that getting better reading comprehension skills will somehow keep you from enjoying your pulp romance or comic books or fanfiction. All a literature education does is give you more tools to analyze writing. It will only increase the joy of reading.

I have had it with this likescolding. “Tumblr doesn’t have an algorithm so likes don’t actually do anything” motherfucker I am not clicking that heart to give some post better ~algorithmic visibility~ I am clicking that heart to help my internet friend microdose on serotonin as god fucking intended

i think it’s really amazing how total strangers who have nothing in common but their shared love of a work of fiction will come together across distances and dedicate their time and energy working collaboratively to build an extensive, richly detailed fanon that completely fucking sucks

you guys are so committed to being bad at interpreting things you’ll just straight up decide this post means the opposite of what i wrote and reblog it anyway

Hello! I have a little announcement to share!

I am currently working on Soul Void: Redux, a massive update that overhauls the majority of my game, Soul Void, originally released in 2019.

The Redux update will include:

  • An OST
  • Retouched or fully-updated graphics/color palettes
  • A save system
  • Easier to read font and dialogue boxes
  • A few QOL improvements (things like easier backtracking, the option to move faster, better hints, and even jumping into the pit multiple times if you want!)
  • New and updated NPCs/dialogue/side quests
  • Adjustments to map layouts
  • And the highly-requested ROM file for gameboy hardware

Reblogging to say that the Redux update is very close to being finished and will most likely be released before the estimated date of July 26th. Thank you for all the kind words and please keep an eye out for an official post in the next few weeks!

SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE (2023)

Okay normally I wouldn’t reblog something like this so soon after the movie came out but I HAVE to tell y’all about this scene

According to Lord and Miller, this scene was an extremely late addition to the movie. As in, “they-had-already-released-the-first-trailer” late.

And the reason that is relevant is because a fan named Preston Mutanga, with his spare time, recreated the entire trailer in LEGO stop motion animation and posted it online after it came out.

Lord and Miller saw the perfect recreation of their trailer, thought it was brilliant, and WROTE IN A LEGO UNIVERSE SCENE in order to get this kid some screen time on one of the biggest animated films ever released.

Mind you, Lord and Miller directed and made THE LEGO MOVIE. And they thought this kid’s trailer was so incredible that instead of making a Lego scene themselves, which they very well could have, they brought him in to work on it.

So while you are watching this movie, know that an extremely cool 14-year-old is telling his friends that he got to personally animate one of the funniest jokes in one of the biggest movies ever made.

I just think that’s in-fucking-credible.

^Here’s a link to the original trailer recreation, posted on Preston’s Twitter.
