i talk about $5 budget movies the same way film bros talk about the godfather but listen. you gotta lower your standards & learn to appreciate the beauty of a movie made by like 6 people who have nothing to work with but a paperclip & a piece of string. budget is not the same as effort is not the same as passion etc. become humbled lower your standards ignore the reviews & appreciate the art of a low budget movie

sometimes theyre good bc theyre entertaining and sometimes theyre good bc you can tell everybody had fun making it and sometimes theyre good bc the love & passion that went into it comes through and sometimes they really are just legitimately well made but often people who are only used to big budget movies will fail to see that & give them a 1 star rating because the film quality was bad and all the actors just look like some guy from ollies

sorry im just mad bc the vultures eye (2004) is a really unique & interesting adaptation of dracula but it seems to have consistently negative reviews from the few people who have seen it

So my EBT got slashed tremendously & I'm still saving up to leave my abusive mom and I can't really do both at the same time because food is insanely expensive and I would like to eat, please consider comissioning me or even just donating a few bucks so I can have lunch for work etc ⬇️
