don't worry it happened off screen it just wasn't relevant to Betty's journey after the Betty and Dr. Curdle Jr. falling out that happened when she didn't invite him to her Rivervale wedding
its wild bc they said theyre in a quad and its like okay theyre all together cool! and you just assume everybody is with everybody and then they make a deliberate point to show every one on one pairing except jarchie and now youre THINKING about jarchie specifically like what makes them different why arent they hooking up etc etc but you werent thinking about them specifically before just the polycule as a unit. but by excluding them they are significant enough that that interviewer had to ask about them bc its more notable than beronica. literally the absence of a jarchie kiss has become gayer than its presence
