stan | he | i dont really post here much anymore

Okay this isn’t reddie but hear me out

Patty Uris, still devastated by the sudden loss of her husband, decides to find out just why he killed himself after a single phone call. After calling Mike and getting no answers other than who he is, who he was to Stan, and where Stan grew up. Still desperate to find answers, Patty goes to Derry. There she discovers its suspiciously dark history and somehow discovers the truth about the demon that haunted them for so long, but not only that.

Maybe Patty doesn’t know what she’s doing, but if this turtle is really as powerful as she’s come to know, then she’ll stop at nothing to get her husband back.

Okay you guys twisted my arm

Patty didn’t know much about Richie Tozier. She knew that he was a comedian who ran out on his latest show and disappeared for about a month now. He’s over six feet, has black hair and wears chunky black glasses. Oh, and he lost the love of his life to the same demonic clown and killed him.

She had three things at her advantage; Richie Tozier was Stan’s best friend as a child, he also desperately wants his lover back, and he’s come face to face with the same forces she’s about to come into contact with.

Richie thinks Patty is crazy but in the best way. Someone who finally understands what he’s been going through and has the same determination. Maybe she’s a little older, but so is Richie, and if anyone is going to help him get Eddie back it’s her.

Richie thinks they’ll get along just fine.

I love that Hannibal and Will's dynamic is fancy and posh x trash goblin bc like,, imagining that from an outsider's pov,,

You're in Cuba, at the market, and see a tall man dressed in a very expensive-looking 3 piece suit. He is carefully surveying the fresh vegetables. Next to him is a man wearing a shirt that says "of course I cum fast, I have fish to catch". He looks like he woke up 5 minutes ago and has been staring at a stray dog outside for the past 15 minutes.

Hey op do you know where I can get that shirt?

Well this was the shirt I was thinking of

In connection with my last post, I've seen so many fics that center around Richie that paint him as dumb and immature with either bad comedic timing or jokes that tend to overstep boundaries. Those fics always feel so unnatural to me because like,,, that isn't Richie

First of all, Richie is actually really smart. It's said in the book that all of his grades were perfect except for his performance grades, since he could never sit still or be quiet for too long. He's described (by Bill I believe) to be one of the smartest Losers

And then there's the whole thing about him not being competent or mature. Yes, Richie is very hyperactive, but that doesn't mean he has to be immature. As I said in the tags of my last post, at least as a kid, Richie seems to be the Loser who is most aware and and comfortable with themselves and their place in the world. Although, that might partially be because he's not going through a more domestic truama in addition to It like Bill, Bev, and Eddie are

And then there's the misinterpretation of his jokes. As far as I remember, Richie never really overstepped boundaries. Furthermore, he laughs with his friends and not at them, which is an important distinction. And Richie can be serious--he's shown to handle relatively well in serious situations, only ever cracking jokes to try and lighten the mood after the fact

So basically I'm tired of the way people misinterpret Richie what else is new

Headcanon that Richie is kind of the unofficial Losers therapist. Every Loser has separately gone to him because, surprisingly, he is incredibly good at listening while they Talk They're Shit Out. However, since they've all told him to swear he wont tell any of the others, nobody but him knows that he's the one everyone talks to
