The Batcave, Only Shit

@mothballmilkshake / mothballmilkshake.tumblr.com

White bi cis female. She/her pronouns. I'm 21 and I live in Australia, Melbourne. I grew up with Harry Potter, though more recently my love has gone to the Hunger Games, Once Upon a Time, Doctor Who and quite a few other shows.
I enjoy the Yogscast and some other let's players, as well as gaming myself
Finished studying drama at uni, jumping into a little play, production or photoshoot here and there. Anything to make a bit of money.

hey friends,

this is ted. ted is my brother’s cutie patootie corgi mix puppy. he went to the vet to get neutered a little over a week ago, and ended up getting sick. he’s been back to the vet twice since he got neutered, and today they admitted him…he will be at the vet on IV antibiotics until wednesday. he has some swelling/pain in one of his back legs, which the vet thinks may be due to an internal abscess, but they’re not sure yet. if it is, it’s going to require surgery, which will probably cost $1000+. as it is, my brother is already paying $500 for the vet stay

my brother is a great guy, and he’s going to graduate from college in may. in the meantime, he is working as a part time leasing agent for an apartment complex, and doesn’t have a lot of money to spare. for those of you who are familiar with the personal & family drama i overshare on the internet, i am currently working part-time in a retail job & am having a hard time making ends meet. my parents got divorced about a year ago, my dad has been in and out of hospitals for his own physical & mental health problems, and my mom lost our house back in may, so as you can imagine, they don’t have much to spare either.

ted has been an amazing companion for my brother, who is dealing with his own depression & anxiety. if anyone is able to help pitch in to cover teddy’s vet bills, we would greatly appreciate it. for anyone who is able/willing to pitch in a couple of dollars, my paypal is biprivilege@gmail.com. i would also appreciate if you’re able/willing to share this. i will update with more info as i get it / if a gofundme gets set up

Hey, do you any other photoshoot pics you'd be willing to share? Thanks!

I haven’t done any photos in a long long time, lol

Anonymous asked:

You're stunningly beautiful, would you be willing to post more photos of yourself?

Man I have not posted much on this blog for a LONG time but I’ll post my etsy profile pic if you like

Also how can a community be upset about alleged sexual harassment over social media when half the female fifteen - twenty year old tumblr users hound Smith's instagram account?

For the ones who are underage, I would say that it’s very different, they need to learn boundaries.

I don’t think there is anyone who would think harassing anyone in a sexual or flirtatious way is acceptable.

But for adults, I agree with you, it’s hypocritical if they’re sexually harassing Smith on instagram. - Mod A

This is uncomfortably close to people excusing rape because ‘the girl appeared interested in him’

In the stream Lewis made a comparison between ridge and sjin, making it very clear that because there was no physical meet-up and no evidence of dickpics, it was a non-issue. just "dirty laundry". "If something like that happens, /don't/ tell us" - talk to authorities or a therapist. Because obviously if a member of their staff is targeting and soliciting fans 10 years his junior for nudes, that's just naughty talk between two "consenting adults". Lewis knows everything, and doesn't give a shit.

Lewis’ previous statement regarding Ridge leaving was because his contract ran out and they chose to not renew it, now that statement has changed completely and the truth comes out.

I think this is evidence enough to point out that either Lewis doesn’t know shit from what Sjin has been doing or he thinks he can pull the wool over people’s eyes. - Mod A

I think Lewis doesn’t give a shit. He’s spoken before in DD and podcasts about how he thinks men just ‘always want sex’, so he’s probably thinking of Sjin that ‘boys will be boys, how can he be blamed for asking fans to lick their pussy’

Survey about resilience

The Women’s Resilience Project wants to hear from you! WRP is a research project at Georgia State University. We’re looking for about 330 diverse women 18 and over willing to share with us their life experiences, both the good and the bad. We are interested in learning what makes women resilient, or able to overcome some of the hardships they have experienced in life. Learn more at womensresilienceproject.com or take our survey now, it should take about 45 minutes to 1 hour of your time and we’ll send you a custom t-shirt to say thank you! E-mail thipp1@student.gsu.edu with questions and please repost this to share with your friends!

(This project is surveying women of all sexual orientations for this survey. The survey asks very detailed questions about sexual history, sexual assault, and alcohol and drug use. Please proceed with caution.)

The head researcher for this survey is looking for more lesbian and bisexual women respondents. Please fill this out if you have the time and emotional ability, and share with friends or community groups who might be interested. This is a really important project and it would be great to have more queer survivors represented!

i just finished this survey and it does take a while to fill out, but that is because the questions and sections are very detailed.

they give clear instructions for each section to help you out, and before you get to the personal sexual history section, there is a little warning to let you know that the questions that come next are rather deep but you can skip any questions you don’t feel comfortable asking - a box will pop up and remind you that you’ve left an answer blank but it allows you to click “continue without answering”

even though i read this post here and the warning before the personal sexual section, i still did find that part a little bit hard to go through as it does require you to remember sexual things in order to answer the questions. so, if you are heavily, or even moderately, triggered by anything sexual related, i would recommend skipping the section entirely or, of course, not doing this at all because they are very detailed, personal questions.

otherwise the rest of the survey was pretty smooth and it makes sure to let you know all your answers are anonymous and that any information shared in the survey won’t be able to be linked back to you in any way, if you happen to be concerned about privacy and safety!

all in all, i definitely recommend this survey as it can provide a LOT of important research information when it’s completed.

I’ll also add it’s very heterocentric (i.e, penis in vagina is sex), since it asks how many times you engaged in ‘sexual activity’ but not ‘sex’

Actually, no! They clarify that oral & anal sex as well as fingering is included in sex, and specify ‘sexual activity’ as kissing, making out, etc.

They do use some cissexist language, unfortunately. Although they’re clearly aware that trans people exist, they use 'man’ as shorthand for 'person with a penis’ and 'woman’ for 'person with a vagina’. :(

And getting to the end, asking about what sexes I am/have been attracted to, it says ‘both sexes’, so yeah, cissexism : <
