I actually am of the opinion that until all children have an equal shot at life, the accomplishments of rich people's children are essentially worthless.
It's not their fault that they have that privilege. But, it's the relay race problem. If the person on your team tripped other people up before handing over the baton, it doesn't matter how fast you run, you still deserve to be disqualified. You can't accept an unfair advantage without also accepting the consequences of other people calling out that unfair advantage, and pointing out how your accomplishments are essentially worthless because of it.
Because it's not an accomplishment to finish first when all the other kids started three lengths behind you. It's just not. Acting like it is just allows rich people to never have to challenge their own preconceptions.
If rich people want to be seen as accomplished, then they better even the playing field. They are the ones with the power and resources to do that. If they want the recognition, they have to actually play fair.
Calling this a worthless accomplishment is not the same as saying that this particular individual is worthless, though. That's a false equivalency. She still has personal worth. It's just not surprising or impressive that she's getting nepo baby privilege.
