they do move in herds
cake I just bought two days ago got moldy already...all my cake, gone
does the nickelodeon cartoon series All Grown Up ever address how tommy tried to kill his brother as an infant by encouraging monkeys to eat him alive
A nature pond with a liner feels like doing things in half measures. I'd like to see if I can make a pond in the hole left behind by the pool but without leaving all of the vinyl inside. The water table is pretty shallow here. I just have to figure out if that would cause water to seep under the house and completely destroy it 👍👍👍
It's like virginia tunnel lady but I'm trying to be lawful good (create frogs) instead of chaotic neutral (randomly divert groundwater)

oh, 50k dollars is how much it can cost to BUILD an in ground pool, to fully remove one can be like 10 - 20k. that's still absurd money. 20 years ago the entire house was worth 50k
small dirt man take me by the hand lead me to the land
now that I am seriously looking into pool removal and how much it costs, I have to wonder why anyone would build a pool at all. it's like 50 thousand dollars and it DETRACTS from the resale value of the home. what kind of masochism is this
I don't think I can or should just let the pool fill up with water and support animals. first of all the sides of the pool would still be falling in and getting rust and plastic all over the googies, second of all I want to use that space for plants! plus all of my shrimps are vernal pool specialists, the vinyl pool basin would never dry out and I would have to dump soil in it for their geochemical needs. I want to get the stupid pool skeleton chopped up and removed
I honestly don't know if I can just have the pool (it's in-ground) chopped up and removed but keep the hole, that could be bad for the foundation. it's right next to the house, if water started to collect underneath that could get really bad really fast

my offer on a 1969 house was accepted (nice) so that means it's time to play
WHEEL
OF
POISON
for real though, I am really excited to own a little bit of dirt for my plants and to produce massive numbers of insects for amusement. getting an older house was the only way to get something of a reasonable size
(the grey thing here is a type of siding made from asbestos that old houses here sometimes have)
I'm making an offer on a house built in the 60s so that means I get to read all these fun government info packets about the massive amounts of lead baked into the structure
signing the little thing that says I promise to not eat the paint or try to remove it using fire
our world has a lot of problems but at least toys and houses are generally no longer made of lead
