some star wars fans seem to willingly forget the quote “only a sith deals in absolutes”. and they act like the jedi are crazy for having a moral code because they think it means that if you break it then you can’t be a jedi and you’re a horrible person forever. but the jedi believe that there’s always a chance to make things right and that you can always return to the light, that you’re never “too far gone” and it’s never too late. the opportunity for good is in everyone and it’s only those who choose not to see it who are truly evil. it’s not exactly “you can only be one or the other”, it’s “every point of life is working to become a better version of yourself”
