i think this my favorite video of all time. ive been utterly enamored with this video for years – i really believe it captures such a genuine, delightful aspect of humanity and culture from the 2000s, and its so fun to watch!!

isaac’s story really made me tear up so much
when he’s talking to james and he says he thinks something is wrong with him, and the hope i felt when james is like “no there’s nothing wrong with you,” to when the air literally just went out of my lungs because he followed up with “you just haven’t met the right person yet” ouch
when isaac is surrounded by all his friends all in romantic relationships and kissing and he’s just there
when he finally gets sick of his friends asking him about james and yells about how he’s sorry his life isn’t interesting enough for them without all the relationship drama
when he talks to the artist explaining their experiences with being aroace
and finally when he finally picks up the ace book and just hugs it close to his chest and that’s what prompts the little animations for him, exploding from his chest
i don’t think i’ve every seen something that so perfectly encapsulated the ace/aroace experience before
