Love how tumblr has its own folk stories. Yeah the God of Arepo we’ve all heard the story and we all still cry about it. Yeah that one about the woman locked up for centuries finally getting free. That one about the witch who would marry anyone who could get her house key from her cat and it’s revealed she IS the cat after the narrator befriends the cat.

Might I add:

hmm what’s inside the boxes 🤔

what if kaveh and alhaitham actually decide to get a bunny, like a liddol blonde bunny ( according to alhaitham’s unbiased liking )

and they grow so fond of him and actually like to go back home from work JUST to feed him and rub his head and make sure he’s getting their attention.

and like one day both kaveh and alhaitham sit on the sofa across each other but still close, playing with him, watching him as he jumps around happily because his two favorite hoomans are here :(

but at one point that night, this bunny kept nuzzling his LITTLE furry forehead against alhaitham’s cheek is if declaring ‘this. my favorite hooman’

and to say kaveh was getting jealous in an understatement, because he just grabs him by his full belly gently, and confronts him as if he understands anything at all.

“ hey!! he’s not only yours! “ kaveh pouts, clearly oblivious to how alhaitham’s attention was completely on him now.

alhaitham thought kaveh was getting all jealous and grumpy because he wanted to be the bunny’s favorite, but now that he knows what he actually meant, his cheeks turn pink, ‘ so i’m his ? ‘

yet he decides to ignore the little dance his heart is doing rn, when he sees two blondes looking at him, one is kaveh and the other is the bunny. but they look exactly the same, he thinks, they’re both fluffy and adorable, and he wants to hug them both in his arms and protect them at all costs.

“ you’re seriously arguing with him? “

“ well i’m not gonna just watch him steal you from me like that and do nothing. “ he raises an eyebrow.

alhaitham figures he’s actually serious about this, and it makes him giggle fondly at the duo, he can’t tell if they look like two kavehs or two bunnies.

“ okay sure, just make sure you strike a deal at the end of your argument” he chuckles between his words.

kaveh, softens at the scene before him, he finds himself approaching the younger still holding the little bunny in his hands.

he bumps their foreheads together, and places their fluffball of a bunny on top of their already intertwined locks of hair.

“ don’t worry about that, we’ll make a deal another time “ they lock eyes, and alhaitham swears he’s never been happier.

‘ is this what a little family feels like’ he thinks to himself and immediately turns pink when the implication hits him. good thing he didn’t say this out loud!

kaveh already feels sleepy from all the warmth inside his chest, so one last nuzzle from him and their bunny to alhaitham, as if they weren’t already close enough, and they’re all sleeping feeling like a pundle of happiness.

Toga would dress up as Nimona for Halloween and force Mr. Compress to dress up as Ballister and people would go insane realizing Compress do not have that arm and Toga is a shapeshifter.

cannot stop thinking about the nimona film. the subtle details like the ways they show how nimona is different from the get-go with her eyes and fangs but also how they slowly introduce more and more abnormalities like her strength when she pulls a pipe off the wall to block the closet door, how far she threw the axe and hit a knight, etc. the knife she pulls after breaking bal out was the one she stole from bal’s lair. the animals she turns into when being electrocuted are the same ones from the gloreth incident. the way footage used to frame nimona was altered to look like someone recorded it on a phone rather than the institute’s security cameras to reinforce the citizen’s ignorance of the police state. the way nimona never takes the first swing. she tried to get away from her attackers using smaller animals before being forced into violence. the way nimona’s creature never roared unless she was attacked nor did she ever look to harm anyone despite her tremendous pain. the way the director’s hair was platinum blonde like ambrosius’ implying she is also a descendent of gloreth. the way todd is a fucking moron with a small dick. the way ballister doesn’t confront nimona about what ambrosius said but about how she hid her past from him. the way his voice rings loudest in her ears during her breakdown. the way nimona’s personality changes with gloreth once she realizes she can be herself. the way nimona changes around bal once she realizes she’s safe with him. the way nimona’s mere existence “threatens our very way of life.” nimona’s phoenix at the end is her dragon from the comic. the way the true villain was always just bigotry and fear. just. this goddamn movie

Is 100% absolutely this asshole from the comic who stole baby Ambrosius's Christmas stocking at the orphanage:

nimona’s portrayal of queerness is just absolutely brilliant. it’s able to discuss the negative impacts of bigotry and ignorance on marginalised communities and anyone who is seen as breaking social norms, in this way it works as a trans allegory specifically, but it also provides the catharsis and comfort of a world where queer people are simply allowed to exist through ballister and ambrosius’ relationship. it’s a perfect balance of queer joy and queer pain that comes together to create a movie that is just a love letter to the lgbtq+ community. you are seen. you are not alone.

My litte brother's reaction to Nimona has restored my faith in humanity

He said "why is killing monsters a good thing? Being a monster doesn't make you bad, if I had 12 arms I wouldn't be a bad person, I would just have 12 arms"

And like he's 9 and he doesn't get the trans/queer metaphor but the fact that he saw that, that he saw that the 'monster' wasn't the bad guy (he also said "Everyone hates her, that's sad", and "Really they had to take his arm, his god dang arm?", and "Do you think he wanted to kill the queen?", and "Aww I think they're dating"(Ballister and Ambrosius) "Awww"(after I told they are), and "are they married now?"(Ballister and Ambrosius)[he thinks they are])

So even if all of the previous generations have gone and fucked everything up, I know the next one is not gonna and even if they do, I know at least one person will be trying to stop them from fucking it up too bad
