I want an explanation why white kids think racism is funny, and why prom proposals have to be remotely racist in the first place.

I want an explanation as to why “this is soo wrong” followed my emojis is someone’s response to blatant racism.

I want an explanation why their parents clearly didn’t find a problem with this.

I want an explanation why, if someone contacted their school boards, why these kids still managed to attend their prom.

I want an explanation as to why in our society white people continue to perpetuate racial stereotypes into their everyday life and they do not face the repercussions.
