hate it when people are hating on an objectively poorly written female character for stupid reasons & treating her as if she's a real person. like no, this character ISN'T the devil for this perfectly fine action, you guys are just misogynists. which sucks because the writers are also misogynists and thats why she's got no personality or acts stupid or whatever. we could be having a 10x more productive conversation if we talked about how the writers had flaws in how they wrote her but whatever ๐
There was a discussion on twatter over artstyles considered soulless and makes a person angry when they look at it and may i just say:

I think it all started because of this picture.
Apparently because these 6 Fox shows have a similar art style (and please keep in mind that at least 4 of these shows are made by 2 of the same people) means Western Animation is a dying medium and clearly Western Animation has a "Disease and it's Uncurable" lol
This is completely ignoring how we've had beautiful shows like, Primal and Invincible in recent years and upcoming shows like My Friend Superman or Unicorn Warriors
But nah only Anime is good I guess ๐คท ๐

Redesigns where elise is a hedgehog don't really cut it for me because she clearly has a bird motif (feathers, orange legs, graceful movements) but also points to how the fandom thinks the only way for a character to be cool is they're hedgehogs.
