i like how Venom acts all tough at first and is all “think of yourself as my ride” etc. but he can’t stop himself from saying how much Eddie means to him. like he tells him “I like you” almost immediately and when Eddie’s like “you can just ditch me for another host” Venom immediately refutes it.
it’s basically: “you are mine. rarrgh. im a scary alien that definitely hasn’t caught the feels” “so you’ll dump me as soon as it’s convenient?” “OMG baby no. sweetie please don’t ever think that. you know i love you right? you have to know. you have to know how much i adore you. i would do anything for you. i would literally rather die than be separated from you or let you be harmed”
