Do you ever think about how in Act One Gordon killed three people accidentally and was clearly shaken and fucked up about it and then in Act Four Gordon killed three people on purpose and felt nothing and was kinda confused/not really understanding why Darnold was shaken by it

Like there is NO WAY that was intentional but it's such an incredible way to show how the Resonance Cascade has changed Gordon in such a short span of time - that accidental parallel. He went from being horrified at his killing people, even accidentally, to killing them with no hesitation to test out a weapon. Then when Darnold, someone who hasn't been exposed to any of this, reacts in horror, asks him if he even knows what he just saw, Gordon just blankly says Three people. They're dead now. And then when Darnold decides not to go with them because he doesn't wanna kill and is very clearly fucked up by seeing three people die (where have i seen that before), Gordon is exasperated. Because Gordon has gone completely numb to murder at this point. It's horrifying.
