Vegan palak paneer with baked tofu
Palak paneer is an Indian dish made with cheese in a base of puréed spinach. In restaurants in the US the term is sometimes used interchangeably with "saag paneer," which strictly uses a mixture of several types of greens including spinach, mustard leaves, and fenugreek leaves.
This recipe involves marinating tofu in lemon and miso paste to achieve the mild and tangy taste of paneer. Baking the tofu yields the firm-on-the-outside-and-chewy-on-the-inside texture of baked paneer, but you can also choose to boil it for a softer texture.

Bánh bao chay (Vietnamese vegetable dumplings)
Bánh bao are an iteration on the Chinese da bao (大包) brought to Vietnam by Cantonese immigrants. Like da bao, bánh bao are commonly filled with some combination of minced meat, Chinese sausage, and hard-boiled eggs; however, some versions of bánh bao are also made with Vietnamese vegetables, herbs, and flavorings. Vegetarian bánh bao (bánh bao chay) may have no filling, a filling consisting of a variety of vegetables, or a filling of sweetened beans or sweet potato.
This recipe combines Vietnamese vegetables, herbs, spices, and sauces with Vietnamese meat substitutes to make a well-rounded filling that's equal parts umami and fresh. The yeasted, enriched dough is tasty, fluffy, and light, but still has enough structure to hold up against the filling.

Agreed! He was always being weird about her culture and what not, like in great scarrier reef he was so xenophobic that he made Lagoona feel uncomfortable and made her not even want to visit her family. Also in 13 wishes he WOULD NOT SHUT UP about how much his parents hated her and her entire group and people and brung it up so often that she felt like changing her race/species for him and his parents. He may not have made excuses necessarily, but he never really defended her and was always bringing it up. As a black person myself, I know how Lagoona feels and she deserves better than some dickwad who cant even stand up to his racist parents and actively makes her feel ashamed about her culture.
