San's birth chart analysis

We finally have this boy's birth time so let's take a closer look to his birth chart.

Highlights: Moon in the 9th, Virgo rising, Venus in the 12th, Saturn in the 9th, Jupiter in the 8th, Leo Venus, Scorpio Mars, Venus sextile Mars.

Moon in the 9th (in Gemini)

Big brain power. In general having a moon in Gemini can be a bit hard, this air sign might struggle in the position of emotions and try to rationalize his feelings. This is especially true when we talk about San, who has a Virgo rising too, the other sign ruled by Mercury. He is a cautious person in general and especially when it comes to matters of the heart because he knows that when he'll let himself go, there's no going back. The 9th house is a very good house, and it can fit well with the moon. He is a deep thinker that doesn't like to remain an observer but wants to dive deeper. He might have an interest in philosophy, religion (I know he's said he isn't religious but it can be an interest rather than being a practitioner), law, foreign languages and cultures. His introverted side might make it hard to travel at times but he likes to travel mentally at least.

Virgo rising

My money was on him being an earth rising sign lately but I wasn't expecting Virgo, however it fits him well if we think about it! He is a very hard working person who managed to improve his skills so much. In general, he cares a lot about others and the community in general, which is very Virgo like too, serving others. However he can also be demanding and hard on himself. That's why it'd help him when someone is a bit more forgiving and gentle to their approach.

Venus in the 12th (in Leo)

I'm gonna simp once again lmao. I think that a Leo Venus is such an elite placement like I'm jealous of all of you and also give me a chance lol. It gives the native a charm and beauty that is very prominent (unlike a Scorpio Venus which might be more mysterious/hidden) and of course they are incredible partners. Very giving, generous, ultimate simps. However they are a bit more public about it usually (they like others knowing they are taken, they are proud of their s/o) but all that is in the 12th house which is infamous to say the least. People with their Venus there might find love later in life, they might be cold and detached or the opossite, very idealistic and fall fast and hard and it doesn't end well. That's why I said San is a more calculating person, probably because he is aware of that side.

Saturn in the 9th

That's a very interesting placement alongside his moon there. Saturn there might decrease the interest in those areas and contradict the moon in the same house but a possible explanation in his case would be the slow steady road that Saturn usually takes instead. He is a curious mind and his principles are very important to him but there are some things about the universe, high powers etc that he is gonna take some time to figure out and challenge his views.

Jupiter in the 8th

Jupiter is the luckiest planet and he has it under one of the worst houses and that's an interesting combination. Idk why people say the 8th house is related to sex because in traditional astrology it's not as far as I know. However it is related to other people's money, inheritance, secrets etc. Also Jupiter generally expands so he might have an interest in 8th house related subjects like mysticism, unknown subjects etc.

Venus sextile Mars (Leo-Scorpio)

The leo-scorpio combination is a very bold one. Bold placements for an one of a kind man after all. A Venus conjunct Mars aspect would make this combination even more firey but a sextile is more gentle (which is good when we talk about those signs lmao) and he can balance out a romantic and sexual side very well. But those things overlap in his heart a lot. A sexual moment can turn romantic and vice versa.

Astrology observations pt. 1

💙 I am a Scorpio dominant person and my bestie is a Taurus one and I'm always very curious about the scorpio-taurus axis because she's my best friend and I think those two signs are opossites with more similarities than differences tbh. Both of us need stability and security but it's a bit different I feel like. Usually I get attached emotionally to people and places and I have a hard time letting go because of that. Meanwhile she gets attached to things or people because she feels secure and she likes her routine (ofc she is emotionally attached to some too but nor as often as in my case) and doesn't like to disturb the loop she knows well.

Plot: Loosely based on the OG myth but I still made some changes.

Hades woke earlier than you did since his godly nature didn't need much sleep in the first place. What he did need was cuddles, which was the reason why he'd laze around with you in bed, refusing to 'wake up'. You were still asleep, on his chest, your hand in a grip, which you'd tighten from time to time as a reflex. Your hair were messy, falling over your eyes, and making his naked skin slightly itch a bit. But he couldn't wake you up yet, he'd rather stay in this peaceful state for some more. How tiny and cute you looked in his arms, trusting him even in an unconscious state.

"Stop staring you're being a creep". You opened one eye to judge him first thing in the morning.

"Sorry, can't control it" He laughed and tighten his arms around you.

"I don't want to escape your grasp but I'm feeling a bit cold. Can you let me go for a minute so that I can wear my night dress?"

"I mean...I can warm you up in a different way" He smirked in an all knowing cocky way that made you pissed off and turned on at the same time.

"I...well...about that..."

"What is it? You didn't like it?" He asked worried.

"It was great last night by the way. I was nervous at first but you made me feel comfortable and I was able to enjoy it".

"I did notice that you were a bit nervous at first but it's only natural because it was a totally new experience. Being so intimate with someone can feel overwhelming at first but once you grow used to it, it's such a special thing to share with someone".

You nodded.

"I'm very happy I got to experience it with you".

Hades looked at you lovingly and went for a quick but passionate kiss.

"Isn't it like super late? We are lazing around all day long".

"Probably yes. But I can get the luxury of skipping my duties for a day once in a while. Thanatos can cover me for once".

All of a sudden, you hear steps hurrying near the door and a loud and familiar voice speaks up.

"You're getting down and dirty for an awfully long time. If Hades was a human I'd be worried for his heart endurance by now".

"Speaking of the devil" you said underneath your breath which made Hades laugh.

"Shhh if we won't say anything maybe he'll grow bored and leave".

"I think if we won't say anything he's gonna open the door and check on us and I don't want him to see me dressed like that".

"You know him better than I do and that's scary"

"What can I say? I'm good with humans".

"You're even better with Gods" He smirked.

"You're so flirty. You seemed totally serious when I first met you".

"I only keep that side for you".

You pouted at that and he kissed the pout away.

"We are leaving. Stay right there, don't come in".

Thanatos scoffed and you heard steps that became more distant which suggested that he left.

A couple of weeks have passed by since you arrived in the underworld. If you counted accurately, about 2 months to be exact, but it was hard to be certain with how frozen in time this place seemed like.

Life with Hades was everything you'd ever wish for, domestic, sweet and tender but passionate and intimate at the same time. But you did miss your old home and felt guilty over leaving Artemis like that, on your own will, on top of that. You wanted to catch up with her, make up if she'd be willing for that too.

But you knew that what you did is unforgivable in her eyes and there was no way she'd ever talk to you again, let alone accept your relationship with Hades.

You were laying down on the bed, staring at the ceiling, lost in your thoughts when Hades entered the bedroom to find you like that.

He moved closer and laid down himself, before clearing his voice.

"I've noticed that you are a bit distant lately and your attention seems to be elsewhere. Is that right?"

You turned around to see his sparkling eyes that were expecting an answer.

"Yes. I've been thinking about Artemis. I wish I could meet her again because I miss her but I don't think she even wants to see me again".

Hades sighed heavily because he knew you weren't wrong. But at the same time, he didn't want you to feel helpless like that either.

"I just feel like I betrayed her and that kills me. I'm being an ungrateful child".

"Sweetheart, that's not true. You can't betray yourself in the process of keeping others satisfied. Your own wants should be your priority and just because someone showed you kindness and care, they shouldn't dictate the rest of your life either."

You were already tearing up, which broke his heart.

"Come here" He said and opened his arms for you to hug him.

"I will talk to her. If you're okay with that. It was a business between you two but now I'm involved as well in this and I think I'd be seen as more of an equal as a fellow God".

"You'll do this for me?" You asked all doe eyed.

"I'd do anything for you'".

"Thank you, my love".

The sun was particularly warm today, amidst summer, it was to be expected.

Hades already knew the places he'd probably find Artemis, which he haven't seen in years, but she wasn't one appreciative of change. Just like him. She kept her routine for years and years and she wasn't gonna change it now. The place she'd usually stay was a part of the forest that was relatively secluded, away from the eyes of humans and gods that wanted to be all noisy and in her business. She'd rest there for a bit and then go hunting. Even if she wasn't there at that moment, she'd make a stop for a break, especially given how warm this day was, so they'd have a chat.

After 20 minutes or so, Hades knew he was approaching the destination but wanted to make sure that Artemis would be on her own. If nymphs were with her, they'd be asking questions about who that man was and what she wanted to tell her and he had none of that. He hide behind a tree and slowly looked, sighing when he saw Artemis, on her own, drinking some water, to rehydrate herself.

He quickly left his spot and approached the beautiful goddess which didn't seem pleased to see him. She didn't say anything but it was clear from her expression that she didn't want to see him in the slightest.

"Well, long time no see".

"Yes. It's been a while" he answered.

"What do you want?"

"A bit blunt, aren't you?"

"That's how I've always been. Although I have to admit, I might be even colder when it comes to you".

"I know why you're mad at me. You can be all passive aggressive I don't mind, but just consider seeing her at least".

"Why would I do such a thing? If anything she is the one I blame the most. She was my loyal companion and had a sacred duty. I blame you for seducing her like that, but you're no more than a siren that captured her attention, when she very well could deny your advances".

Hades didn't really like the way he was painted by Artemis. But his main focus right now wasn't to save his reputation. He couldn't care any less about that.

"You can't avoid seeing her forever. Also, she isn't supposed to accept the fate you placed upon her, just because you found her when she was little. She had no choice, this wasn't the life that she wanted."

Artemis shook her head, annoyed already by the back and forth.

"Of course you'd say all that and support her decision. You gain something out of it after all. You already slept with her, right?"

Hades felt his fists clenching, if it wasn't for you, he'd be long gone after such an insulting implication.

"What does that have to do with you seeing her?"

"It's not exactly connected but it does confirm my worst fears. All men are the same after all when it comes to controlling their lust, right?"

Hades knew how Artemis was regarding sex. In such a patriarchal world, she kept herself independent by distancing herself from men. Meeting the wrong men -and many God's were of that kind- made her hostile and suspicious of them. But at the same time, she didn't have to generalize like that and accuse him of being a selfless lover blinded by lust. She knew that he wasn't like that, no such rumors existed about him. But she was in denial, how could you want a different life than the one she set you up for?

"Maybe. Although I bet Orion was different".

Artemis' head snapped fast and she looked at him surprised. Hades knew he was playing a dangerous game but sometimes you gotta do an eye for an eye.

"Don't mention him". She replied sternly but he had none of that.

"A man having such an effect on you? Maybe not all of us are that bad after all. Even if you try to deny it, I know how much you loved him. Even if it's been so long you'd be unable to forget the intense feelings you held for that special someone. Your love wasn't meant to blossom and I feel sympathy for you. But wouldn't it be nice for your dearest child to experience all that you've missed? You might not know me well but at least you know I'm not like most gods."

Artemis used to be close with one man, a human to be specific. Orion was an exceptional huntsman, and they started hunting together, sharing the same passion. She fell for him, but didn't tell anyone, because how could such a chaste goddess fall for someone? Her brother Apollo caught up on that and he took a drastic measure by sending Scorpio, to kill him. She grieved for her lost love and made him a constellation in the night sky to immortalize his memory. But it's been so long, she almost forgot about that. Only for Hades to remind her so vividly.

It was true that Hades had much more dignity than most gods did. Many of them like to abuse their power and take advantage of women. Especially human ones which are seen as inferior. The double standards were evident even among gods, a goddess having many lovers would be considered a lustful siren, but gods weren't subjected to such names. Hades wasn't known for a womanizer behavior, he kept mostly to himself, similar to Artemis.

But she was still skeptical and that was written all over her face.

"Do you think if I could control it, I'd get with a fellow goddess' follower? Why would I do such a thing and bring unnecessary tension between us? Especially since we didn't have any pre existing conflict to begin with."

"Then why, out of all the women in this world, you had to come for my favorite child?" She looked at him, hurt and no longer pretending to be the stoic woman she's known for.

"First of all it was her choice....I didn't take her away from you, she chose to stay with me. Also, I love her. I love her more than anything and if being with her would make all God's turn against me, then so be it."

Artemis was left speechless after that confession. She did have the tendency to be selfish, but which God wasn't selfish? Maybe she took it to a whole new level when it came to you though.

"I know how much you love her. She's told me so much about her childhood and how much she loves and appreciates you. I'm sure you share the same sentiment too. I'm not expecting you to accept her with open arms after our talk, I just ask you to consider seeing her again. Because she does miss you a lot."

Artemis' face became softer. She really liked the fact that you thought of her in such a fond way.

Hades decided that it was about time to leave and let Artemis take her decision on her own, but that wouldn't take long.

"Bring her to me tomorrow" she shouted, making him smile.

You were looking around for Hades, at this point there was only one place he'd be, he is probably reading again in the throne room. You still needed some time to get used to your new environment, but Hades has been more than understanding and you were very thankful for that. He was busy from time to time but you knew that was to be expected. He always made time for you however, getting to know each other further since you were together officially only for a week. I guess you can't say officially yet because the fellow God's didn't know about you two but you were content to be his even in secret .

"Here you are" you said a bit louder than intended which caused Hades to shake from the mere shock of your voice echoing in the peaceful room.

"You scared me" He said and started laughing nervously to reject the awkward feeling of adrenalin creeping up for no reason.

"I'm sorry" you gave him the best puppy eyes you could master and moved closer to sit on his lap.

"I'm gonna knock next time"

"You don't have to knock, just don't semi yell during the dead of the night"

You laughed because that sounded so ironic.

"It's always the dead of the night here though"

"My point exactly"

You laughed again. It seemed like someone else was taking a pass for yelling often though.

"Why is Thanatos allowed to be so loud though?"

"That's his default. I wish I could find the button to turn down his volume a bit"

"He is too feisty to not be loud anyways. But for me, I was just too excited to finally find you. I've been looking for you for some time now. Missed you already".

Hades closed the book he was reading and left it right on the table.

"I missed you too. I wanted to visit you in your rooms later on"

"I wanted to talk about that too now that you mentioned it. Why can't we sleep together? I feel like a mere guest here and it kills me".

Hades was old fashioned to say the least. But it wasn't so much about whether you were married or not but rather to take things slow. He had his fair share of experience, even though it's been a long time since he became intimate, but you had no experience whatsoever and didn't want to make you feel pressured. He didn't trust himself enough to be around you like that, sleep in the same bed, maybe his wondering hands would touch you in an improper way during the night

"I'm sorry you feel that way, sweetheart. I just thought it'd be better if we took things slow, to not overwhelm you".

"What overwhelms me in fact is not sleeping with you! I've been dreaming of this moment for so long. It's right in my grasp now but I can't have it yet somehow".

Hades sighed because he was making things harder for you, it seems like. He misunderstood and had the opossite effect.

"Okay...we can sleep together tonight then! BUT we will just sleep. Understood?"

Hades raised his eyebrow, knowing well where your thoughts were heading. Exactly where his thoughts currently are too, to be honest.

"Mmm we will see about that..." You crossed your arms underneath your bust, like a child that was throwing a tantrum. His act made you doubt his attraction towards you and that scared you off a bit. You were thankful he was considering your needs and wants but it seemed like he was controlling himself a bit too well. Little did you know.

"Come here" Hades smiled making his dimples to appear and gestured for you to sit on his lap. You loved physical touch but you didn't experience it much so far since Artemis was a bit stern about such things.

You moved closer and sat on him, moving around a bit to find a way in which you wouldn't crash his legs too much with your weight.

"Am I making you uncomfortable?" You asked full of curiosity.

"My legs are fine. I'm a God after all. Something else might start acting up later on". He smirked and cackled.

You had no idea what he was talking about but you knew for a fact it was sexual. He was confusing you a bit, keeping some distance from you and now being all teasing and playful.

"I'm so happy you are here. I don't want you to take this the wrong way and feel undesirable or anything like that. It feels like a fever dream and I'm afraid I'll wake up from it".

You turned your head to face him and cupped his cheeks before placing a quick kiss on his lips.

"Do you dream often?"

"I don't sleep much to begin with. I don't need it. But, when I do, yes."

"What do you dream of, then?"

"Fields, endless fields with lots of sunshine"

"You'd like to see all those?"

"I can and I do at times but not for long, I gotta stay in the shadows. But it seems like sunshine found me here too".

He was talking about you and you knew it. You never thought of yourself as a sunny person before. You had your gloomy days, your doubts, your pessimistic moments. But if you think about it, the sun takes its breaks too, otherwise it'd burn everything down to the ground. You and Hades are like the sun and the moon, gotta work together to bring balance.

You lay down on his chest, fondling the hem of his shirt to soothe him down. He doesn't seem stressed to begin with, but you always want to be a comforting touch for others. A kiss is placed on your forehead, which lingers for some time, till the imprint of sensual lips is left behind, a reminder of his love.

"What are you dreaming about?" Hades asked softly, waiting to hear about fairies and sheep. He didn't know your dreams can get more daring than that. Not too daring because you can't dream of things you don't know of, right?

"I used to dream of freedom. To be set free and to live on my own. Living here never was my ideal life, according to my inner desires at least. But I did choose to be here and that granted me great freedom for once. I was naive about love, still am, but the very first taste was so sweet that it made me drunk quickly. I took a sound decision though. As sound as someone in love can be".

Hades started petting your hair softly and then spoke out.

"I want you to know that you are free here. If you want to leave and go somewhere, you can. You are used to God's being above you, but I want you to think of us as equals."

Your eyes grew twice in size.

"I can't think of such thing, Hades. That'd be blasphemy after all. I don't want you to get in trouble or anything. I know my place in this world."

"Which world?"

That was a really good question. What someone defines as world is a vast and abstract concept. Your world used to be the world of the living, but you're not there anymore.

"Exactly my point. This is my world and I make the rules. Other God's don't have a saying about that either. Even if they don't agree, their opinions hold no value here."

"That sounds hot" you smirked and started laughing.

"You like it when I'm assertive?" He asked.

You nodded.

"I know this might sound selfish but I like how powerful you are. It's surreal to think that a powerful God would fall for me, yet alone be a little whipped too".

"What's that?"

"What's what?"

"A little whipped. What does that mean?"

You started laughing at the boomer side of Hades that you had to get along with, too.

"It's when someone is really into someone. But it's not just a lighthearted crush, you get really soft for that person."

Hades nodded at the explanation.

"Well you can say I'm more than a little whipped then".

You smiled brightly at that response. Some people play hard to get, too self centered or scared to admit someone else has such power over them. But Hades is confident about the way he loves you, not hiding his feelings away, but being open and even proud about it.

"I'm gonna get too spoiled it seems like."

"You will."

"For the time being, let's just sleep together".

The underworld didn't have many servants which was lacking compared to the other kingdoms. However some demi gods stayed with Hades when the world's were sorted and served his majesty. Only one of them was female, Nyx. The goddess of the night graced the kingdom with her beauty and grace and Hades thought you could afford some socializing. She wasn't exactly a servant due to her goddess state, but she was willing to help you out and making your transition to your new home a bit easier.

"What color should I wear?" You asked while looking her way and draping two dresses on you.

"Are you gonna have a meal first?"

You nodded.

"That's what he said. He wants to have a meal and talk a bit first. I don't know why he makes it such a big deal."

Nyx noticed the concern that settled on your forehead by creating a frown, that's why she didn't speak up till you did.

"I know this sounds stupid and I'm sorry if it's too personal, you're the only one I can share it with"

She stood up from the chair and moved closer, already sensing the need for comfort and a quick pick up.

"No, don't worry! You can tell me anything that troubles you and I'm gonna listen".

"Artemis was always telling us to be careful with men because they're...quick to react if you know what I'm saying. She said that they're often ruled by their hormones. That's why I thought Hades would be a bit more...reactive? But he takes it slow, which isn't a bad thing, I just doubt whether he wants me like that too, or it's more of a platonic love? That wouldn't be bad, just unequal because I view him as a man myself".

"I see where you're coming from, but as someone that knows Hades for a long time, I'd say that he is different. Of course I'm sure he feels attracted to you in that sense too, he just needs some time to get to know you a bit better in order to take the next step. It's just his general philosophy, it has nothing to do with you".

You really hoped she was right. She did know him way longer than you do after all. Maybe you should forget about that for now and enjoy the moment.

"Hid favorite color is purple and I'm sure it's gonna look lovely on you. Maybe we should go for that dress, what do you think?"

You looked at her again and slowly nodded, her words waking you up from a train of thoughts and worries. Nyx couldn't see what Hades found in you at first. She used to have feelings for him and tried to make a move but was denied. She doesn't feel anything for him anymore, but the curiosity of who he chose as his partner got under her skin. She can see now what's your appeal, for Hades at least. Innocence. Not a faux one that is used as a foreplay or flirting style, but purity, which is hard to find among immortals. If it was someone else and not Hades, she'd assume the worst, but she does trust him. Even if he hurt her by rejecting her, he wasn't one to manipulate you or anyone really. He just wanted a break from the filthy world.

After getting ready you made your way to the dining room and slowly opened the door. Candlelit room that seemed frozen in time, your movements slower than usual, and shadows dancing with each other.

You saw Hades sitting already at the very far left and you went to sit the opossite way but the table was longer than you'd like.

"Where are you going?" He asked confused.

"That's where queens usually sit" You said with a smile.

"When they are guests over. Now it's just the two of us so you should come closer."

You did as you were told and Hades quickly got your hand in his as you settled down.

"You look so beautiful tonight. I don't think we're gonna sleep much".

You tried to hide your face between your hands because that was very daring for your poor inexperienced heart.

Hades laughed, he liked making you flustered way more than he thought it was possible.

As the dinner was served, you got distracted by the servants and all the plates you saw in front of you, but Hades eyes didn't leave your figure for a second. You had styled your hair in voluminous curls, that emphasized how long they were. Your wrists were adorned with bracelets made of pearls, matching your earrings. The necklace however, was a mixture of pearl and silver details, sparkling ever so slightly by the way you moved your neck to his side. A light lavender fragrance captured his sense of smell, and he was certain you weren't just a nymph, because not even Aphrodite would compare to you.

"That's a lot of food" you spoke up trying to stop the awkward moment of him blatantly staring at you. You weren't used to attention to say the least.

"I wanted you to eat well and gain enough strength for tonight"

Virgo stelium:

In general a stelium is a sign that's repeated 3 times or more in a birth chart. Since it's an energy that's very present for lack of a better word, it is very important in general and might even influence the person in other areas and not just the ones it falls under. I don't wanna emphasize Virgo traits that much because those are mostly known to people that are are familiar with astrology but more the aspects that are created in his chart. His Sun conjuncts his north node. The north node is a point that symbolizes where we're heading in this life time, the lessons we get, where we are going to shine etc. The sun is all about being seen, charming, glamorous, famous may I add 👀 it's also his chart ruler! Since he is a Leo rising. I'm saying it and I'll say it again, we should pay extra attention to the aspects our chart ruler creates, they might resonate with us more.

Moon in the 1st:

None the less that's an area he is lucky in and that's further emphasized by his well placed Venus, in Libra, the planet ruler. In general overall Jungkook has a 'lucky' chart. Ofc there aren't inherently bad birth charts but some placements or aspects give you a harder time than others and he is, for the most part, lucky to not have too many of these.

Synopsis: It's based on the myth but I've done some changes to fit my narrative

You thought about it, you really did. What was left for you to do at last was to explain to Nefeli that you were gonna leave. You'd miss her so much but you felt like there was no other way. Artemis wouldn't wanna see you after you chose Hades over her, and you wouldn't be allowed to join the fellow nymphs again. But just like biological kids make their own decisions on how to navigate life, you wanted to do the same. You'd come back and talk to her eventually. But currently your foggy brain was full of his thoughts, and you couldn't make a plan on anything other than to meet him. You heard a knock at the door and concealed your little bag that you were preparing.

"Yes?"

"It's me" Nefeli said. You'd recognize her lovely voice anytime, anywhere.

"Come in". You answered and here she was in all her glory.

"Please take a seat" you gestured.

"Why are you making your bag?" She squinted her eyes suspiciously although she probably knew already what you were up to. Sometimes you were too similar for your own good.

You sighed. She wouldn't approve of your choice and you knew. It was beyond logic but isn't love irrational by default? Tears were running down your cheeks, you felt a sense of relief because she was right, you felt alone after thinking of the terrible scenario of Hades and you not working out.

"Thank you. The first chance I'll get I'm gonna come and see you" you said and went for a hug that she gladly returned.

"When are you gonna leave?" She asked and looked around the room for something you might forgot.

"At dawn. I wanna be as discreet as possible after all"

"Hold on, I'm gonna bring something for you"

You felt slightly confused as to what that might be but kept on folding your dresses. You didn't have many but they were kept in great condition as you took care of them.

"Here". She said, out of breath slightly because she was running.

"You didn't have to run to your house" you said, making her take a seat again.

"I was too excited to bring it to you"she answered

You opened the box, two little pearls sat inside the jewelry holder.

"Those are for me?"

Nefeli nodded.

"Brides take a dowry usually and that won't be too much for Hades but it's gonna do."

You laughed at her light hearted humor. You thought to yourself that she was so sweet to give away a pair of the few earrings she owns.

"It's not anything high end but I'm sure you'll look lovely in them".

You smiled at her.

"Well since you gave them to me they are precious to me"

"Don't be so cheesy for once" She looked at you disapprovingly.

Time seemed to be even more endless than it usually is for Hades. He didn't need a method to calculate time here, because such constructions that humans used to measure the day, weren't needed in the after life, but he knew for a fact that he couldn't wait to see you again. Longing for someone makes time to pass slowly, but when you're together, you simply can't get enough.

He also had his doubts. You told Thanatos that you'd come here to talk, but you didn't say you'd stay. Maybe you'd come to reject him but at least he'd be able to see you for one last time. But he didn't even consider all that because he didn't view you as such, you were his equal, someone he wanted to keep by his side and shower with love.

While he was lost in his thoughts he heard sounds coming from the portal area and quickly rushed to check what was going on. "No next time?" Hades asked as he gently pushed your jaw upwards because this conversation needed you two to look at one another.

"Yes. I took my decision and I'm gonna stay with you. "

It was comical how fast his expression changed from worried to cheerful, you couldn't help but laugh.

He lifted you up and started swirling around, almost making you dizzy, from love mostly, but his movements might have played a role there too.

"I'm scared you might leave if I'll do that".

"Never! You'll grow sick of me, don't worry" you smiled, looking at him in the most gentle and loving way anyone has looked his way. He was receiving the most love he's ever experienced by a single glance.

"Can I get a kiss?" You asked, surprisingly bold for your standards. But you were dreaming of that moment for so long, it was your consistent daydream and the theme of your night dreams too.

It's been two weeks. Two long weeks without hearing from you. He was growing impatient but for the most part he was worried. What if you said something to Artemis and she couldn't control her rage. What if Artemis threw you out and you were wondering around the forest. But if that was the case, you'd surely come to him, right? Maybe Artemis tried to change your mind and she made it. Now he'd have to mourn his love for you that never had the chance to blossom for the rest of his life. That's an awfully long time. He doesn't have the luxury of death to make him forget about you.

Even Thanatos wasn't his usual bubbly self, sympathizing with his master after seeing that all the jokes he pulled weren't making the atmosphere lighter.

"You won't go for women hunting?" Hades asked noticing how his friend has been avoiding to leave his side for the last week.

"No I'm fine. I'm over it to be honest. It feels nice to flirt and stuff, but it gets repetitive after some time and you grow tired of it".

"I'd never grow tired of being with her. If anything I'm grateful I'm immortal so I'd have more time to be with her than mortals do."

Thanatos sighed. He wanted to say a white lie to make his master believe it's not such a big deal but Hades made his mind already about how crucial his love for you was.

"I'll be right back". Thanatos bluntly said and left through the now hated portal.

He had to check on you because his master was going insane and he couldn't sit there and watch. It didn't take him long to find the area of the forest in which nymphs lived.

Elpenike, an old flame of his, widen her eyes when she saw him.

"What are you doing here?" She said after running towards his side.

"We are dead if Artemis see you here".

"Well, that's my specialty" Thanatos smirked.

"You aren't funny." Elpenike deadpan.

Thanatos had to find a way to find you without specifically asking for you because this would cause suspicion. He was someone that always respected boundaries and never used his hypnotizing abilities to get what he wanted but there was no other way for that to happen. Thanatos' black eyes turned golden and he stared deep into the poor nymph's eyes. After seconds, her eyes matched his color wise and she was gonna obay him without a second thought.

"Where is Persephone?" He asked.

"She is in her room. She's been there for days due to her high fever".

"Get me to her".

Elpenike started walking and she stopped outside the third house Thanatos could see from where he was standing. He followed her suit and entered the room after taking a glimpse from the window to make sure Artemis wasn't inside.

When he opened the door, he saw you laying in bed and another nymph attending to your needs. You looked tired and a faint blush was adorning your cheeks, the result of your fever.

"Who are you?" The nymp asked, very clearly defensive but her stance was more dynamic than yours had been when you first met him.

"Thanatos..". You said when you saw him standing at the door step.

"Come in and close the door, I don't want anyone to see you here".

He did as he was told.

The nymp spoke again.

"Thanatos? Hades' side kick?"

"Yes" you replied.

"Hey! I'm not the side kick. I'm a whole main character actually".

You laughed at that. He did make a place in your heart at the end.

"What is it? Did something happen to Hades?"

Oh you were just as whipped. You, a fragile little human that was currently sick, felt worried over a powerful God's well being. Love is crazy indeed.

"He is fine physically. But he misses you a lot. He doesn't know I'm here but I wanted to check on you because he's been so worried he's gonna lose his mind".

You smiled and felt like tearing up after learning about Hades' caring feelings for you.

"I've been sick that's why he didn't hear any news from me yet. When I'm gonna feel better, I'll come visit him. No matter what my decision would be. Please tell him what I said"

Thanatos nodded.

"Does she know?" He gestured to your friend.

"I have a name actually...."

"She does. She is the only one that does."

"No she wasn't. She said she is feeling better already. She'll be back to you in no time, I'm sure".

Hades couldn't wait for that moment to come, till then he was gonna sleep holding your shawl.

Thanatos came closer and patted his lord's shoulder.

"I mean I've never been in love but I've heard that it helps when you share your feelings with someone else. Would you mind if you shared them with me?" He asked and took a seat without waiting for a response because he knew that Hades was gonna accept.

"You know how you can be seemingly so different with someone but deep down you are made from the same kind? I feel like we can relate on a deeper level, both restricted by our very own nature, trying to break away from it and find our deepest desires. But at the same time she reminds me about a part of me that I forgot about, the vulnerable one. There's nothing more scary, to the living or the dead, than being that. But it's like vulnerability is all she knows and she makes this typically powerless state, her greatest strength. Her pure intention too. There's so much drama in our world, but when I see her I feel like she doesn't hide anything from me. An open book, if you will. You know how much I love my books after all. I could go on for hours praising her. Even if Eros couldn't find me in the deepest parts of the world, I'd fall for her on my own. Thanatos was positive at this point, his master was whipped. It was sweet and he was happy for him because he knew-although Hades never outwardly said it- that he wanted a companion, a love to call his, for a long time. But at the same time, he was worried. He knew of your position, and he knew it was a big decision to come to Hades and change your surroundings and friends for a life of darkness. It was such a big sacrifice that few were willing to take. He didn't know if you were among those. But he did wish you were, for Hades' sake.

I think the whole loud stereotype might come from fans typing characters on shows as ENFP when they have that magic pixie dream girl going on. I guess it's a fun thing to type characters but it's only gonna be shallow especially in movies because we only get to know some parts of them. Maybe in books it'd be easier because there's that POV in which you get to know their thoughts too 🤔

When it comes to me I love socializing because I love people! I'm the opposite of a misanthrope basically lmao. I like listening to them, understand where they come from, share ideas etc. I love talking but I'd say I keep it balanced because it's also disrespectful to not listen to others and not a quirky extroverted trait (some people be using mbti to get a free pass for a rude behavior too 💀)

But for instance I spent 5 days with a friend 24/7 and met other people etc and today I came back home and I really wanted some time alone to recharge. It's like I get energy both from socializing and from being on my own? It just depends on how long each one didn't take place.

Synopsis: it's based on the myth but I've done some changes to fit my narrative for the story.

The moment you saw the stairs opening you had a love struck expression and ran down to the bottom. Without a second thought, you hugged him and didn't let go until you realized you should keep your distance. But as you were about to leave his grasp, his arms wrapped around your shoulders and he kept you there for a bit more. He missed you. In comparison to his endless life 3 days were supposed to be mere seconds but they felt so long to be apart from you.

"How are you feeling, love?" He asked and started playing with your hair.

You looked up at him through your long lashes and felt like melting from his touch.

"Very excited to learn more"

He laughed and let your hair go.

"I have something in mind I'd like to share with you but first I have to spend some time with Thanatos because he is addicted to being around me at least twice per week".

He isn't the only one.

"It's not a big deal. I was a bit hostile when I first met him and I'd like to apologize for my manners".

"I'm sure he doesn't mind but you can do that yes. Thanatos is a bit of a prankster and I honestly don't know where he gets his positive energy given his...position. He might be a bit too upfront and friendly with strangers and some find this rude but ultimately he is a sweet friend".

You nodded. It wasn't his fault nor yours. You were a bit more grounded with strangers since forever but after getting to know Hades better, you felt more safe in meeting new people and getting to know them.

"Let's go to the throne room, he's gonna meet me there"

You followed him and took a seat on a couch near the throne.

"Can I ask what do you have in mind when you said you want to show me something?"

"Poems. I won't tell you anything more than that but I'm sure they will touch your heart with their lyrical nature and inspiring words".

Oh no, he is going straight for your feels. How are you gonna keep yourself collected, you have no idea.

You heard someone knocking and he told them to come in.

"Why are you even knocking to begin with?"

"I knew Persephone would be here so I didn't want to interrupt in case something was going on".

You took your hands and hid behind them. Maybe it'd take you more time to forgive him now that you're thinking about it.

"Stop making her shy". Hades looked at him dead in the eyes. He looked very scary when he wanted to.

"Sorry lord but teasing others is a habit I find very hard to get rid of".

"Just pull yourself together. What did you want to tell me that you couldn't wait and had to shorten the already little time I have with Persephone?"

"Ah yes...about that. I'm gonna leave for some days".

"Women hunting....per usual".

Hades sighed and he was gonna turn from passive aggressive to aggressive in no time.

"You take advantage of my love for you to live your womanizer life and on top of that you interfere with mine?" Just leave already! I give you two days. TWO DAYS. No more than that. You are lucky I even entertain the idea in the first place".

Thanatos smiled and came closer to Hades to kiss him and hug him but he had none of that.

"Don't be mad at me. I'll mature some day".

"Don't worry. One day a woman will get you for real and that will do it. Till then, I'm living with a teenager."

Thanatos laughed.

"I hope that will ever happen but we'll see".

"Thank you too" He said and you couldn't understand why he thanked you as well.

"You make him softer and easier to manipulate".

"Hey!" Hades yelled, blushing ever so slightly.

"I've always been so understanding, you have no room for complaints".

"That's true. But the last two weeks you've been even better".

Hades gestured for him to go because he had enough of his annoying yet adorable friend already.

"Two days, okay?"

"Yes, sir"

Just like that, he was gone.

"He is very energetic, I have to admit".

Hades laughed at your observation. His friend was very energetic and he couldn't keep his mouth shut either. He almost exposed Hades. Now that he thought about it, he had to keep him from going as a punishment for having such a big mouth.

"Talkative. Energetic. Dramatic. But very pure and gentle when he wants to".

"It seems like Thanatos isn't the only gentle guy around here". You eyed him in a "You know about who I'm referring to" way.

"I'm not that gentle. I cam be fierce too!".

"You did look scary when you got all serious with him before".

"I don't want you to think I'm scary" Hades was worried. He knew his looks made others have pre judgments based on his cold demeanor but he wasn't scary, especially for you.

"I'm not thinking such a thing don't worry. All I've seen from you so far is a wise, kind of grumpy but sweet man."

He smiled at that and he felt relived he seemed approachable to you.

"Now, should we do our little reading session?"

"Yes. I'd love that".

Hades went to the corner of his room and searched for a particular book in his bookshelf.

Sappho wrote many books about love and I wanted to share some with you.

It's not just poems, it's romantic poems too. You were panicking to say the least. It's so easy for a thing or two to spill when you least expect it.

"Let's make this a game. You're gonna go around the pages randomly, and the one you're gonna choose-without looking-is the one we will read first."

You loved the idea. Lottery with poems.

Sometimes we don't want yet to admit how we feel for someone, but other people's words can be a happy middle ground to express how you feel without the added of vulnerability of forming sentences with your own words.

"You did. Every single poem of hers is a piece of art. It's like music, dancing and singing combined."

"Which one is your favorite?" You asked.

"There is a line that really speaks to me the most".

"Someone, I tell you, in another time, will remember us

Mortals don't have everlasting lives but they can have everlasting loves. Isn't it better to become immortal for what you've done, how much you loved, what you created, rather than live without purpose like in my case?"

His eyes got hazy and they seemed to become increasingly emotional. Without a second thought you moved closer to him, completely overstepping all boundaries and hugged him. He broke down in tears, feeling relieved he was in your arms and had someone next to him that could withstand his emotional weight.

"We make our purpose. It's all about how you view what you're doing, even a simple task can be meaningful to you if you change its meaning."

"That's true and I'm not complaining about that. I just want to find love too. Remember when I asked you what makes you long for the most when we met?"

You nodded and wiped away some of his tears.

"For me it's that".

You wanted to kiss him, you really did. But there was no going back after that so you hugged him instead. It was your time to cry now too, because you had to confess your longing for love. Your longing for his love.

"I feel the same way. I felt the same way two weeks ago too. But I couldn't admit that, not even to you, I'm still in denial about it myself. I shouldn't be like this as a nymph. But why is my nature so contradicting to my heart's desires?"

"I have the overwhelming desire to kiss you that I can't control. You shook my world upside down in such a short time span."

You wanted that more than anything too. You already felt entirely hopeless with your love. But you couldn't, it was too dangerous.

"If Artemis finds out about this, she's gonna kill. I'd die for you because I'd come here again but I don't know if you'd let me go through the most traumatic experience".

Hades started petting your hair again, erasing all those catastrophic thoughts from your head.

"As long as I'm here, no one will ever hurt you"

"That's not true and you know it. Remember what happened to Kallisto, when Artemis found out about her relationship with Zeus?"

Kallisto was a princess and she joined the nymphs and swore to maintain her virginity just like every girl that stayed in Artemis' circles. But when Zeus corrupted her and she bore his son, Artemis nearly killed her and she was ultimately turned into a bear. You knew Artemis was particularly fond of you, but you also knew how important her principles were and she wasn't making exceptions for others easily.

"But I will protect you. As long as you want me to, of course".

What is he even saying, you wanted him more than anything but

"I'm not doubting your power or glory. She'd never hurt you after all, but I am just an insignificant mortal and I will feel all her wrath for the both of us".

"Are you implying that I only care about my safety? If that was the case we wouldn't even have this discussion in the first place, I would just sweet talk you to bed and then be gone like Zeus does. But you are more than that, you are someone I will protect whether we end up together or not. I know most have selfish motives, even when it comes to love, but mine aren't. I'd sacrifice even my life for you , if I had one".

You felt really sorry the words you said sounded like that. You never doubted his ability to love, you only doubted his ability to love you, specifically. You felt entirely worthless of receiving his love, but ultimately he decided who was worthy of that.

"I'm sorry if I offended you in any way. I'm not scared of death, because it'd bring us closer, but I don't want to betray my mistress, my mother figure, who gave me so much love, a house and warmth. But at the same time, I don't want to live life based on others expectations, I want to choose my destiny and make my own path."

"I know about that. Artemis is admirable for adopting you and providing for you but I can see how you feel frustrated over the entire situation. I don't wanna say anything on this matter because I don't want to influence you in any way".

You were very grateful he had a neutral position regarding the whole ordeal. You needed some time to yourself to think about it before telling him what was gonna happen between you two.

"I don't want you to take a quick decision or feel pressured about what to do. I wasn't planning on confessing to you today. But I couldn't hold myself back for voicing one of my desires. What I said is only a small fraction of my feelings for you. But I feel like I'm gonna scare you away if you'll know the depth of my love so I'm gonna remain silent for the time being".

Your heart was beating so fast from the second confession that happened back to back. Your chest was raising and falling faster than usual, feeling flattered and aroused by his words.

"I'm scared to tell you anything for now, because I don't wanna admit how I feel yet. But if I will ever end up with a man, I swear to Zeus, you will be the only man I'm gonna be with. If that is what you wish for, of course".

You were tearing up again, unable to keep yourself together after coming so close to spilling out the depth of your desires. Hades laughed when he heard the last sentence.

"There is nothing in the whole world, the whole universe, the vast sea or the underworld that I want more than to be with you. So don't even question that for a second".

Now it was time to start weeping because he made it so much harder for you. You didn't have the will power to hold yourself back from ending up in his arms.

"Please don't cry love. We're gonna find a solution, alright?"

You nodded your head but didn't move from his embrace.

"You know you are really not that scary at all".

Hades laughed and you heard the vibrations through his chest. You were so happy you were able to lighten up the mood a bit and make him feel some relief for a second.

"Can we stay like that for the last ten minutes of my visit?" You asked him with pleading eyes.

"Yes sweetheart. Whatever my girl wants".

His girl. You wanted to be his girl more than you wanted to see the light of the next day. Being his girl didn't include a lot of sunshine to begin with, but he was the brightest star in the night sky.

His lips traveled on your neck, and his arm had a tight grip around your waist as he kept you still on his lap.

"How inappropriate is this? You sitting on my lap like this...you are ready to be completely ruined by me anytime I think it's fitting." You moaned by his words because he was absolutely right. You couldn't find an ounce of dignity left when it came to him.

"Please touch me a bit." Hades chuckled and his other hand traveled lower and lower where you needed him the most.

"Persephone" a voice woke you up and your breathing was irregular and heavy.

"Did you have a nightmare? You were whimpering and moving around in your sleep".

You touched your sweaty forehead and couldn't believe you had your first wet dream. Turns out love and lust were way closer than you thought they'd be.

"Yes I did. I've been stressed the last few days for no particular reason and this reflects to my sleep quality".

Artemis came closer and she held your hand in hers. She wasn't known for being particularly physically affectionate but because you had been clingy ever since you were a child, he made an exception for you, which made you feel even more guilty than before.

"My sweetheart. I got so worried last week when you were gone. Did something happen back then and you didn't tell me about it? Is this why you've been so jumpy lately?"

"No. No. Nothing happened that day. I just lost track of time, that's all. I don't want you to worry about me, I'll be fine mistress."

She took out her handkerchief and wiped your sweaty face. She was humming a melody simultaneously which made you feel relaxed.

"Thank you" you smiled at her and she returned a bright smile back at you.

"I'm going to hunt now. Tomorrow I'll leave again for many hours to join Hippolytus and his men. Do you want me to not go?"

You shook your head and smiled once again.

"I'm well really. You don't have to worry. I'll find something to keep myself occupied."

Artemis checked you from head to toe once again and when she saw no injury or anything that might make her grow worried again, she left.

When she closed the door behind her, you were left with your guilty thoughts. When you stood up from the bed you felt a bit uncomfortable to say the least, sticky down there and a numbing feeling that was a constant reminder of your sinful thoughts. You had to take a bath as soon as possible.

2 days later

"I'm going now. If you want anything tell Nefeli about it and she'll come to your aid."

You hugged her and she left.

After around 20 minutes of her departure, you went to Nefeli to tell her that you're gonna leave to take a walk in the forest.

"Are you sure you want to go on your own?" Nefeli asked.

"Yes. I'll be fine don't worry. I'm a whole woman after all". You laughed and she looked you dead in the eye.

"For me, you'll always be my baby. But I guess I should let you take your own steps too".

"Thank you for that. I'll come back in an hour, I swear".

"Be careful!" Nefeli said and hugged you.

Among the nymphs she was the one you felt closest to. She had a gentle nature but combined it with a fierce protective side that made you feel safe and loved. You hated how she didn't know why you left but you couldn't reveal to her that you're going to meet...someone. if you'll meet him to begin with because there's no wolf threatening you this time.

You started walking towards the lake, feeling a bit nervous. Best case scenario he won't open the portal never again and you're gonna keep living the life that you've grown to love. Worst case scenario, he does and you become a nervous wreck unable to look him in the eyes because you feel so guilty you've been thinking of him in a sexual way. You were horrible, you thought.

On one hand you wanted to run and have more time with him if he opens the portal but you also felt like this was gonna be a huge disappointment if he doesn't. If he doesn't, what are you gonna do? You said Nefeli you'd be home after an hour, you'd have to wander around to waste some time.

You could finally see the lake after walking for 25 minutes. I guess subconsciously you were walking faster than average because it took you longer to arrive last time.

"Here comes my disappointment". You said to yourself and sat on your knees next to the lake's edge.

Maybe if you put your hands inside, that'd help. You don't even know how this portal works. Even if you saw you, maybe he doesn't want you to come again. But he did say he can be your guidance, didn't he? You shouldn't think of yourself as a burden. You wanted to talk to him again, it wasn't just your romantic side that craved that. He seemed so knowledgeable about the world, you wanted to learn from him and eventually form wisdom of your own. Although the path to wisdom would take years, you thought.

After 10 minutes of alarmingly increasing heartbeat, there was no sign of Hades anywhere. You felt your eyes about to tear up and a grip like feeling around your throat. Pathetic. You felt like crying for someone you only talked to for a bit and you had no concrete evidence he felt anything for you other than fascination of your naive side.

"That's what you did to yourself with your stupid wishful thinking" you cried again, wiping your eyes with your dress. You even wore a white dress, your most flattering color.

Suddenly you heard the same earth shuttering sound and moved back in a hurry. Your beloved stairs appeared and without a second thought you went down.

Hades was waiting for you and you smiled so brightly when you saw him, it was so obvious to him you liked him, you thought. But when he took a closer look and saw your red eyes, his expression dropped.

"What happened, sweetheart?"

Sweetheart. You were willing to cry every day for the rest of your life if Hades was to call you such.

"Nothing. Don't worry about it." You said and wiped the remaining tears.

"You thought I wouldn't let you in?" You really couldn't fool this man and it scared you. The power imbalance and difference in experiences was evident.

You nodded without saying anything because it'd make your voice break without a doubt.

"But i told you that you can use me for guidance. When I give my word, I am doing what I said always."

You smiled up at him, trying to keep your tears again. This time they were guilty ones, because he was so sweet to you and yet you had this hunting dream. How can you be so unhinged?

"How much time do we have? Because I'm certain you didn't tell Artemis you are coming here." You laughed and answered him.

"You're only coming early here because I don't want you to wander around the forest during the night on your own. Is that understood?"

"Yes. I'll come here during the day."

Hades smiled at your obedient nature. He didn't want to admit it but his sexual urges have been out of control since last week and he knows a very good reason as to why that is. But unlike you, he didn't think of himself as an awful man of carnal desires. He knew that he felt for much more than lust. He wanted to protect you from the world but who is gonna protect you from him? He had no idea about that. If it was up to him, he'd ruin you without a second thought. You falling apart under him and then him putting you together again. The power to control your pleasure and the ease he'd feel to know that he was responsible for you and nothing could ever harm you when he was in control.

"I wanted to ask more about you, if that's okay of course. Your origins and the sides of yourself you are willing to reveal for now".

When he heard the last part, he smirked. You were very observant he thought, and you knew others better than you thought you did. He caught up to you thinking of yourself as less than you were but he didn't agree with that.

You agreed and you went there before him because you were so excited to learn more and be in his presence. Hades' dimples showed up again, how can someone be this adorable and enchanting at the same time.

He took a closer look to what you were wearing, a white dress that was loose around your body but beautiful drapes enhanced your shapely figure. He had to stop his mind from wondering what was underneath that dress. A rounded neckline complimented your soft cheeks and your long hair, still loose, suggested you were still a young unmarried woman. He could even smell how you sprayed some perfume behind your ears, mixing with your natural scent to attack his senses. He was certain by now that you shared his feelings.

"It all started with my parents, Chronos and Rea. I am the middle child, three daughters before me and two sons after. My parents had great power over the whole world, all the realms belonged to Chronos, which can be great responsibility. It is also a blessing in disguise. Few have the ability to remain noble with great power. My dad wasn't among them and he wasn't willing to share even with his own kids. That's why, when an oracle told him that one of his sons was gonna threaten his authority, he tried to get rid of us. He was able to do so for me and Poseidon, but Zeus escaped him. He was raised in Crete by a cow and some forest nymphs and when he became an old he came for our father's throat, just like the oracle had predicted. We divided the world to three realms and by luck each one got their own, I got the underworld and here I am in all my glory". You laughed at that.

"It is scary to think that even your own parent would act that way against you. But it seems like no matter how hard you try, you won't be able to overcome your destiny".

His destiny. Hades really hoped his destiny included you too.

"Yes. It seems like Moires control our lives. Maybe they are more powerful than us after all. Although I think they aren't the most feared among us."

"Which one do you think is the most fearful?"

"Eros."

You felt very confused by his answer. Eros is Aphrodite's son as far as you know, he makes people and God's fall in love. Shouldn't he be the most well liked?

"He is a beautiful young man, non threatening he seems at first. But just like the Trojan horse, it comes with great danger. I've seen mortals and God's alike do crazy things for him. No logic is left in their minds. It causes great pain too when it's not returned. You can't escape him. I guess we are similar in that way with Eros. He's gonna find you, even if you are in the depths of hell".

He found him, after all. Even here, he found him.

"Even he couldn't escape his power. If you know about Psyche".

You did. You've always thought of their story as the most inspiring and admirable you've heard.

"It turns out you aren't the most fearsome around after all. Don't you feel misunderstood at times?"

Proud of him. He couldn't get enough of your praising. He wanted to hear you calling him all positive descriptors a language can have. He was a thirsty man and your sweet compliments were his nectar.

Your eyes widen once again, he really had to slow down with all those pet names.

"I...I don't know who my parents were. Artemis found me when I was a baby and decided to adopt me in a sense. I'm very thankful for that and I love her, I really do. I think she is usually strict but becomes very gentle when i am around. I guess she has a soft spot when it comes to me."

Artemis wasn't the only one that had a soft spot for you, Hades thought.

"She taught me about healing and I'm very grateful for that. I am blessed to have found such a nice home in her arms".

Hades was about to cry and it's been ages since he was so annoyingly emotional. You were such a pure soul, he would fight anyone to keep you safe.

"I'm very happy you found her too. Artemis is a very respectable goddess among mortals and God's. She has a great lot of dignity and independence, very dynamic and strong but fair and balanced too".

You nodded because that's exactly how your mistress appeared in your eyes too.

"Other than that, there isn't anything special to know for me."

"Not having experiences to share doesn't make you any less special than others. You are very admirable and mature despite your young age and you show me that it's alright to wear your heart on your sleeve from time to time."

You felt so happy by his answer. It was hard to not be overly strict with yourself but you felt relieved someone thought of you in such a way.

After some time had passed and you had to leave, he spoke again.

"When are you gonna visit again?"

"Whenever you want. Just tell me and I'll come. I don't wanna interfere with your schedule."

"Maybe you can come in 3 days? Or is it soon?"

Too soon, he says. As if you wanna leave his side to begin with.

Hey everyone! I saw on Twitter that Jimin recently mentioned his birth time but he didn't clarify am or pm. After taking a look at both possible charts, I vote for the am one. This was unexpected because 11:58 pm actually makes him a cancer rising and I've thought he was one for the longeeeest time but I think 11:58 am makes more sense overall and I'm gonna share why later on. Keep in mind this still can't be official so yes take this as a disclaimer I guess.

Highlights: north node in the 10th house, 10th house stelium, Gemini moon, Scorpio Venus and Mars, Jupiter in the 12th, Neptune in the 1st, Libra MC, Sun conjunct MC.

Air dominance in the big 3

So Jimin has a libra sun, Gemini moon and Sagittarius rising (if his birth time is accurate indeed). Those 3 signs are known for their independence and self reliable outlook when it comes to life. Gemini moon people can be very witty, intelligent and intellectuals but they are also prone to being moody or overly realistic when it comes to matters of the heart. I do think that Jimin has a softer nature than what his big 3 would suggest which made me think of a cancer rising, but I think it's gonna all make sense later. As a Sagittarius rising, Jimin is very curious about the world, he loves learning and exploring. He is someone thoughtful when it comes to life and the lessons that we learn from our experiences. The sun is all about leading, making a statement, being SEEN and it's under the 10th house? You were meant to shine sweetheart. It's also in his Venus, Venus being the planet of love, beauty and ARTS. Guess we know Jimin for all those things, aren't we? But the best placement to have it imo is the north node. Member: San as Hades X Persephone reader

Plot: It is similar to the myth but there are some changes.

Genre: Fluff, Angst, Smut (not in this chapter)

You opened your eyes and looked at your hands at first. You wanted to have a safe reference point and to check if you were okay or you passed away and this was the afterlife. Little did you know...

You glanced upward and saw two men looking at you while keeping a safe distance in order to not scare you any further. One of them had wings and the other didn't but his beauty made it obvious that he was a God. The dark corridor enhanced the shadows that played along his face, the square jaw could cut a finger and his eyes were hooded and black, but deep within them, a softness could be seen. Maybe you were seeing things however, because you'd like his eyes to exceed such softness, you wish this was a God that wouldn't harm you. You didn't really have many powers other than healing. Ironic to say because healing is of great importance. You didn't have the power for great healing, at least not yet, but you didn't have any way to defend yourself or harm others. Not that you'd harm anyone, but the healing powers, were only targeted towards others.

"Are you okay?" The winged man asked and moved a bit closer but the other man grabbed his arm to stop him from moving too close to you.

"I..I think so. Where am I exactly?" You asked, bracing yourself for the upcoming answer.

"Try not to freak out but that's the underworld."

Your eyes grew double in size and you felt very confused.

The other man spoke out this time.

"The lake you saw, is a portal to the underworld. We can see from the inside what's going on and when we saw that...wolf approaching you, we tried to help you out."

All this sounded really nice at first but you grew very suspicious. You didn't have much experience with socializing and that made you feel a bit paranoid by others intentions.

"Why would you help someone you don't know?"

The man was taken aback by the blunt question.

"Why would I let a young girl being killed by a wolf?"

Valid. He had a point. But at the same time this all seemed too good for your fate. You never thought you were lucky. It was strange that luck would bless you during a time you needed it the most.

You stood up because you realized you were still on your knees and gasped. The man looked at you concerned but you shook your head.

"I'm well. My knees felt a bit sore, that's all".

You were smaller than them, which made you even more self conscious. You didn't like feeling exposed, out of your comfort zone.

"Wait..." you extended your arms in an exaggerated way to get their attention.

"If this is the underworld and you are a God, then you are Hades?"

The man smiled and two dimples formed next to his lips.

"How did you figure out I was a God in the first place?"

*I mean look at you*

"I just assumed it based on the fact that you or he opened the portal. One of you is Hades, I'm sure that's you. I've never heard my mistress say you had wings."

Artemis never mentioned how gorgeous he is either.

"Who is your mistress?" He asked.

"Artemis. I'm one of her nymphs." You answered with pride.

The winged man spoke this time.

"It's weird that I don't know you if you're a nymph."

Hades laughed at his friend's statement but you didn't.

"What do you have to do with us?" You said in a defensive way which made Hades eyebrow to raise.

"Nothing. I just have some...friends among you."

"Friends?" You thought it was really strange how this teasing man had friends among you.

"Yes. I'm Thanatos by the way. Just don't tell your mistress about that little confession I made before."

"I won't. She doesn't have to know about any of this. I wasn't supposed to wander that far from home to begin with."

Hades felt a frown appearing on his lips. He didn't know why but he didn't want you to leave so early.

"Before you go, would you like to take a walk with me? I'd like to show you around."

You felt very confused about his proposal. Why would you want a tour around such a dark place? Yes you wanted to explore the world but this wasn't the world of your choice. It felt dark and scary, not much to see or experience. But at the same time you'd never have the opportunity to witness the underworld again.

"Yes. But let's not take too long because Artemis will be looking for me." You said.

Hades smiled at you and Thanatos started feeling rather suspicious. His friend had a wonderful smile but not many reasons to show it off. Today however, his master seemed so smiley that he was gonna form wrinkles around his eyes soon.

"I'm such a bad host. What's your name?" Hades asked.

"Persephone". You responded.

"Such a beautiful name" he said and then muttered a second sentence.

"It suits you well."

"Thank you" you smiled back after the longest time.

"Artemis gave it to me because she thought that it was fitting. It means the one that grows the flowers and since I have healing abilities, it is a true match." You laughed a bit.

"Healing abilities?" Hades' eyebrow was raised again, his signature move when he felt curiosity.

"Yes. I am not that good yet but I do have some abilities to heal others. Mostly plants and flowers, some animals. I'm not that capable to the point that I can heal many creatures but I wanna get there."

"Ah I see. So we are the opossite it seems like..."

Hades said and he gave you his hand for you to take your walk around. You offered it right back at him and a tiny electric shock got through your body.

"Sort of. I am nowhere near as powerful as you are. I feel ashamed to even talk to you to be honest." You looked down defeated.

Hades placed his hand underneath your chin and made you face him.

"Your work is more noble than mine. Power should be measured by the good that you make for others and not by rank. I am more powerful but I'm not helping anyone. Meanwhile you do. Because even a plant can be saved by your hand, while I have the weight of death around me." He said and let go of your chin. You were more than thankful the place was so dark otherwise he'd see how red your cheeks were. Your heart was beating so fast, you were sure his supernatural senses picked up on that. You never thought a God would tell you such a thing. Most of them were very arrogant, you thought. You'd never voice that but deep down you knew they had their fair share of arrogance and bad traits but they were blinded by their power. But he seemed different, almost apologetic for his position. You didn't want him to feel that way. He was the most admirable in your eyes.

"There's beauty in death too. If you think about it, at our core, we aren't that different. Death can heal someone from all their worries and pain and give them the gift of an everlasting sleep. I might keep them alive for a bit longer, but you heal them entirely at the end."

Hades was left speechless and surprised. He never thought anyone, let alone a pretty young nymph, would find anything noble and worthy about him.

"Wow...I never thought anyone would think of me that way. Not even God's consider me equal to them. My brothers probably think of themselves as superior. I don't mind that. I just felt like I was lacking in comparison to them."

Hades couldn't believe what was coming out of his mouth. He wasn't one to talk a lot, especially to a stranger. But he couldn't even call you that, it felt to cruel to label a pretty flower like that. You seemed trustworthy to him and this encouraged him to voice his frustration.

"You said ranking doesn't matter, right? So I hope my words of encouragement were as if Hera said them to you." You smiled at him.

They might be even better coming from your mouth, he thought.

"Maybe we should go this way, it's my throne room."

You followed him right behind and made out his silhouette. He was wearing a dark blue chiton that was fasted by a thick belt around his delicate waist. His collarbone was exposed and so were his muscular arms. Truly a God like physique.

He opened the extremely heavy looking door with ease and gestured for you to come inside. The room was large but not as fancy as someone would expect for a throne room to be. A very large throne was at the very center, with some gold fleeks decorating the top parts of it. The shape was long towards the top and it made a triangular shape.

"Wow. It's beautiful."

"It is...what it is. I guess it's majestic enough for me to not complain."

You laughed at his grumpy comment. He was indeed way older than he looked.

"May I ask how do you spend your time here? I guess there aren't many things to do." You asked with eyes full of curiosity.

Hades could feel his heart swelling from the sweetness you were oozing. It's been such a long time since anyone asked for his interests. He felt seen.

"Yes you are right." He chuckled. Damn for such a dark God he sure smiled a lot, you thought.

"I usually keep up with some practical matters that don't take that long. The dead don't put up riots exactly to say the least." His sarcastic dark humor was a prized possession of his wit.

"Other than that, I might see any crazy love struck mortal that come and see me to save their love from my capture. I might call them crazy but I do admire their ability to love. Like in Orpheus' case".

You knew about him. He was an exceptional musician that traveled here to have a second chance in life with his lover, Eurydice. But his longing for her couldn't keep him from taking a look before they made it all the way out and he lost her again. Talk about pain, having to lose the love of your life twice. You sighed after recollecting their story.

Hades sensed that this discussion was too much for you and he tried to change the subject.

"I like to read too. Having a lot of free time is excellent for book lovers."

"What are you reading currently?" You asked.

"A collection of myths. I love how such simple stories can hide a great meaning behind them."

"Mmm." You agreed.

"What about you?" He was the one asking this time.

"There aren't many things I do to be honest. I hunt sometimes with Artemis, although I find the sport cruel and I try to avoid it. I do read a bit but I like to find inspiration elsewhere."

"Elsewhere?" Hades' interest peak. He knew you were a nymph that wasn't supposed to have affairs with men but he felt like that was what you implied right now.

"Right there." You said and pointed at your forehead.

"I travel with my imagination as my vessel. I visit far away lands that I form there based on other peoples descriptions. It's like a mental painting if you will. You can imagine anything your heart desires, from freedom and happiness to love."

"Which one of those has you longing for the most?"

You stared at him because you didn't want to answer such a personal question. If freedom was that, you'd say it without a second thought. But you'd lie if you said so. It was love in your case, and you couldn't be this vulnerable and admit it out loud.

"I guess I don't know yet". Almost a lie, you thought.

"You still got time to figure it out after all."

"Yes. Although some guidance would be nice."

"I'm here if you'd like that. Unlike you I've found what I'm longing for. Now whether I'll have that or not is a different story but at least I know. Our past time activity isn't that different, you see. You paint a mental image written by you, I do so based on other people's words. I guess I'm not ready yet to be as vulnerable as you are. If you take the ink to write your hidden desires, you never know what's gonna come up and scare you."

You never thought of yourself as vulnerable. I guess being that was synonymous with being yourself, so it never felt out of the ordinary. You weren't afraid of your fantasies, you were accepting of them. It wasn't a personal matter entirely, your position in this world didn't let you to be who you wanted to. A nymph that had the privilege to be in Artemis companion had to follow her example and not have any kind of inappropriate relationship with a man. But currently you were in his world, and maybe rules are different now.

"How do you do that?" Hades spoke up putting an end to your train of thoughts.

"How do I do what?"

"How can you make me feel so comfortable around you?"

Oh. That's what he meant. Here comes your crazy heart beat again.

"I don't know. But I've never been told such a thing before. I guess it's my non threatening demeanor or my insignificant existence?"

"Insignificant?" Hades had an almost disgusted look on his face. He didn't like the way you were talking about yourself in the slightest.

"Well...I'm not supposed to be here in the first place. So whatever you're gonna say, I'll keep it a secret because my very own presence here should be a secret. It's also that, I'm a nobody so even if you said something you shouldn't, it won't matter much."

Hades really hated how you labeled yourself. It definitely wasn't that which made him feel comfortable with you.

"It's not that. You seem so pure and trustworthy, like a newborn that has sparkling eyes for everything they discover. When adults see the world it's a mundane ever the same routine but when they're asked questions by little kids, they see everything again for the first time. It gives them a new exciting perspective on things they've already witnessed. I'm not saying this in a demeaning manner if that made you offended. If anything it's very refreshing to talk with someone like you."

"Someone like me?"

Someone so beautiful and pure, he thought.

"Yes. Someone curious for the world around them." His answer didn't voice his thoughts exactly. He was such a coward.

"Thank you for your kind words. I really enjoyed our discussion but I'm afraid I have to leave. Artemis might get worried."

Hades nodded in an understanding manner although he really didn't want to let go yet.

"Hope we'll meet again".

"Maybe we will". You lifted your skirt a bit and moved up the stairs, taking a last look at the lake.

"I hope we will". You whispered.
