“…Hundreds of Chinese scissors suspended from the ceiling in a shimmery cloud. The piece involved the artist sitting at a small black table, hand-mending patches of fabric together which visitors were encouraged to cut themselves near the entrance. As the performance continued, the piece grew as one continuous cloth and lay spread on the floor.
The hovering mass of the downward-pointed scissors represent the distant fear and looming violence present in today’s cultural climate. The sharp blades above the artist are put in contrast by the silent and simple act of mending. The dichotomous result of the instant fear superimposed with the calming effect of the sewing created a surreal atmosphere in the room.”

An experimental piece I did earlier in the week. Inspired by some shots from a game called Among Trees that I came across by accident. They. Were. GORGEOUS. (Go check it out!) This, of course, looks NOTHING like those, but it did teach me a bit about lighting and coloring that I hadn’t really had the chance to put into practice. It’s important to remember when you’re inspired by something - your finished work SHOULDN’T look like someone else’s. Otherwise, you’re just copying someone. But if you can learn something from an artist you look up to, and then take what you learned and apply it in your own style. Well, then no experiment is a failure.
This is outstanding work! I also love to follow by these lines but I like to look at a lot of others work to build up my own unique art style! so pre much I’m fair self ta in a way other than others help and some basic hints, tricks, etc.

i did some more datamining and found another file! toby in the final version kept the used music files in an external folder, but there’s still some resources embedded in the main EXE
this time, it seems to be a battle theme for seam the shopkeeper? the comments say “Seam the Sorcerer” though… now, this is just getting darker, yet darker…
