• he’s the oldest so he obviously has to keep a stoic expression when he’s with you and the boys at the same time /s
• he’s just so shy and doesn’t want the younger ones teasing him relentlessly
• so he tells you to keep the PDA lowkey 
• and for the most part, you stay respectful to his wishes
• emphasis on ‘for the most part’
• it’s currently the holiday season so you, heeseung, and the rest of the members were having a little get together at the Hybe buildings which was all planned by everyone working there
• unbeknownst to heeseung, you decided to scatter some mistletoe here and there while he was out bringing out the presents from the car
• you had to act fast and boy did you!
• no really you somehow managed to hang up 15 pieces of mistletoe in the span of 5 minutes
• you really wanted to mess with him
• but also get some holiday cheer from your man 
• once heeseung returns, the party ensues 
• niki is messing around, pulling pranks on the staff
• jake and sunghoon are conversing with one another
• overall, everyones munching on food and vibing
• now you though, you’re waiting to catch your boyfriend off guard and attack when he’s the most vulnerable 
• which is when he’s goofing off with the members
• in the corner of the practice room, just by the food table, you can see heeseung and sunoo laughing with one another and it looks like he has no idea of the things around him
• perfect
• as you come up behind him, you motion for sunoo to keep quiet, to which he ignores you in the way that he ignorantly wants in on the shenanigans
• once close enough, you press your left hand to his left shoulder so that he thinks it’s someone else 
• when he turns his head and sees no one to his left side, he turns back to sunoo and that’s when you plant a sweet kiss on his cheek
• in an instant his cheeks begin to grow a familiar red that you see whenever he gets shy
• he starts sputtering over his words as he scratches the back of his neck
• “care to explain what that was for?”
• “look up hee, it’s mistletoe. you have to kiss when you’re under mistletoe!”
• you give him you signature puppy eyes, to which he can never say no to and you can see him slowly crack away
• he sighs and replies with, “alright but…no more, please.”
• now the way he’s looking at you, you can’t help but comply to him either
• but you also want to keep up the jokes
• “fine…well since sunoo is also under the mistletoe, i think i should give him a kiss too. don’t you think so, sunoo?”
• sunoo momentarily panics because he doesn’t want to face the wrath of the oldest members but he oh so desperately wants to rile him up too for shits and giggles
• “definitely!”
• he sticks his neck out and turns his head to the side for a quick peck on his cheeks and just as you’re about to press one on him, heeseung grabs your wrist and pulls your body so close to him, you can feel his heartbeat
• “no, i don’t think so. if sunoo wants a kiss he can go ask jungwon for one”
• “HEY-”
• heeseung glares at his junior but rather than looking genuinely mad, he has a small smile that makes him look like bambi 
• he’s so cute you don’t think you can handle it anymore
• “but heeeeeeseunggggg! it’s a holiday tradition. you gotta kiss someone if you’re under the mistletoe with them”
• “is that so?”
• still pressed against his kiss, you nod up at him and hum in confirmation
• “alright then, i guess you don’t kiss him anymore if i do this…”
• he let’s you go and grabs a hold of both of sunoo’s shoulders and shifts him closer to the food table where he’s not under the mistletoe any longer
• he gives you his bambi glare and says “only i get to give you mistletoe kisses. or any type of kisses. got it?”
• you stand straight and salute to him. “yes sir!”
• then he does something completely unexpected and gives a longer kiss than usual
• on the lips
• in front of everyone
• while he squeezed your waist
• now it’s your turn to blush like crazy
• however, upon pulling away, you immediately hear the symphony of “aweeeees” from the other members 
• so heesueng joins in on the blushfest while letting out a groan of annoyance (and embarrassment)
• “i’ll never live up to this”

• Jay doesn’t really mind PDA at all
• well, it actually depends on what it is
• a chaste kiss on the cheek, forehead or lips? sure! handholding? loves it? 
• as long as it’s not too excessive, he’ll do it
• it’s not because he’s embarrassed or anything like that, it’s just that he feels bad for putting you on display like that
• he doesn’t want to make you uncomfortable :(
• this is all because the two of you are a fairly new couple, only dating for a few months
• there’s certain boundaries you haven’t crossed just yet and even though he desperately wants to, he just doesn’t out of sheer respect for you!!
• and you love that about him, you really do
• but you wanna be cuddled when you feel anxious in public or wanna be babied when you accomplish something great 
• one day, you accompany jay and the members to the mall, who just want to go and blow their money on clothes
• from shop to shop the 8 of you go, looking through each article of clothing but unfortunately for you, it’s the type of clothing that isn’t your style 
• so you bully them in taking you into your favourite store 
• you don’t take too long though
• you find a few pieces and head to the changing room
• when you leave the first time to see how a particular top look on you, you don’t expect to find jay sitting on one of the chairs waiting for you, along with niki and sunghoon
• “what’re you guys doing here? you don’t have to wait for me, go and look at things you’re interested in”
• your cheeky motherfucker of a boyfriend decided this is the perfect time to flirt and says “you’re what i’m interested in” 
• “that was horrible, absolutely disgusting and i hope you know that” chirps niki from behind jay
• jay rolls his eyes at him and clarifies that he wanted to see and judge the outfits for himself
• “yeah, especially since you two are like fashion icons or whatever 
• so you go back into the changeroom and try out a few things, getting a few comments from the three boys
• jay seems to have his eye on the last outfits which he persuaded you to buy since he thought it looked amazing on you
• now that all of you have your hands full with bags from various stores, you head to the food court for things like boba tea and sushi
• half of you head to the restaurants and buy the food and because you’re so slow, you’re the last to arrive at the group table, which luckily for you, is all occupied of its chairs
• when jay notices you standing aimlessly in front of them, he turns to niki and says “shame on you. why don’t you give up your chair for Y/N?”
• poor guy is so confused please help him
• “HUH???? YOU’RE THEIR BOYFRIEND, GIVE THEM YOUR CHAIR! THAT’S YOUR JOB, NOT MINE”
• niki is popping off at your boyfriends and its a sight you want to continue watching out of pure amusement but you’re also getting really hungry so you deicide to break it apart
• “it’s alright niki, i’ll come up with something”
• you look around for a chair and see that there are none
• so you come up with the next best plan
• you stroll up to jay and plop lightly on his lap
• the whole table goes red MY GOD they’re so embarrassed and for what 
• you also feel jay tense up and how his breath hitches when he asks you “is that what you came up with?”
• “well since you suggested for niki to give up his chair, do you also suggest for him to allow me to sit on his lap?”
• when finishing that sentance, you’re about to rise from jay’s lap but you hear the youngest panic
• “uhhhhhhh are you INSANE? JUST SAY THERE PLEASE I’M TOO YOUNG TO DIE BY THE HANDS OF YOUR BOYFRIEND”
• obviously the topic for today’s trip is niki’s endless screaming
• yet at the same time, jay also tightens his arms around your waist, making sure you don’t go anywhere
• “you know what, i think this is a good alternative, right guys?”
• y’all the rest of the group can’t even look at the two of you
• jay leans forward and glares at everyone. “right, guys?”
• jake breaks the awkward tension and coughs out a, “oh yeah, totally, all cool”
• although he has the ‘opinions’ of the members, he still has to make sure you’re 100% okay with it
• so he leans towards your ear and whispers “you alright like this?”
• “yup! you’re comfy and warm!”
• he lets out a small chuckle and kisses your cheeks to your reply and from that day on, there isn’t a time where you’re not seated on his lap

• I think jake is one of the members who LOVES any type of affection, private or in public
• but he also knows how to be mindful of his surroundings, making sure the staff, the members, or yourself are not uncomfortable in any way shape or form
• so clearly, because of this, PDA is minimal, if not non-existent out of respect of boundaries like jay!
• of course, he knows you also don’t mind PDA so he indulges you every now and then
• but now that it’s just the two of you in the dorms, the two of you can be as affectionate as you please!!
• since it’s the holiday season, what with christmas coming up, you and jake decided to bake some cookies for yourselves and everyone else
• now here you are, in the boys’ spacious kitchen, mixing together some cookie dough
• poor guy has no idea what he’s doing 
• he cracked some egg shells into the mix 
• he was about to add salt instead of sugar
• and don’t forget that he kept droppings everything around him 
• so you kind of have direct him around while he looks like a lost puppy
• but he’s having so much fun so you don’t have it in you to tell him to stop or go off on him 
• luckily, now that the mix is done, all you have to do is put them in the oven to bake and decorate them icing and make them all pretty
• while waiting for the cookies to rise, you sit on the counter, your feet dangling to and fro
• jake comes up to you, spreading your thighs apart as he stands between them
• “you know…i was thinking…do we really have to give the cookies to the members?”
• you playfully slap his shoulder as a grin sprawls on his face
• “hey! i’m kidding, i’m kidding!” he defends himself
• “oh you better be, sim jake”
• “don’t worry, i am. and besides, i have something way sweeter than cookies” he coos as he brushes his nose with yours
• “oh you’re so smooth, loverboy”
• “only for you” he winks at you
• and it’s true
• around only you, he has some newfound confidence that he doesn’t really have around anyone else

• but anyways
• he swiftly lifts you up from the counter, placing you on the floor in front of him
• “how much ‘till the cookies are done?”
• “about 15 minutes,” you counter
• “great, then that gives us time to do this…”
• he reaches towards his phone and turns on some slow song
• placing it back down, he wraps your arms around your neck as he places his around your waist
• you quizzically look at him, raising your eyebrows
• “what’s all this for?”
• he begins spinning you around, much like a ballerina in a music box
• “oh i don’t know. look outside. it’s snowing, we’re together, we have nice music, and the kitchen’s starting to smell really nice. don’t you think it’s pretty romantic?”
• it definitely was, you’ll give him that
• you and jake are swaying to the gentle music, not a care in the world
• he supposes that with the beat of your heart against his chest and the sound of your steady breathing, he has the sudden urge to gaze at your face
• he pulls apart and trails his eyes from your lips to beauty mark above your right nostril
• he could never tire from gazing at you
• with how strong his love his for you, he locks his mouth with yours for a heated kiss
• it’s filled with nothing but passion and as you fall limp, his hold on your figure tightens, his fingers splaying across your back
• breaking apart from the kiss to catch your breathes, he leans his forehead on yours right after pressing his lips on both of your cheeks
• “you know Y/N…i’m really in love with you, i don’t think you understand”
• “really? cuz i was about to say the same thing. maybe we’re connected in some way”
• just as he’s about to kiss you again, the timer rings and you snap your neck towards the oven
• which so happens to be in the line of sight of 6 boys staring intently with goofy smiles smiles at you
• too nervous to do anything, you stay in jake’s hold but the two of you blush at being caught in such an intimate moment
• heeseung is the one to break the awkward silence
• “aweee don’t stop now that we’re here! don’t let us prevent anything happen”
• jake let’s go of you and yells out, “ you sound like a total perv right now”
• heeseung waves his hand in dismissal and counters with “we’re all considered pervs if we’ve been watching you for the past 10 minutes”
• jake looks like a deer caught in headlights
• now it’s your turn to give the eldest member a piece of your mind
• “so you’ve just been stalking us like that? do you have any shame? and to think that i was going to share the cookies with you!! jake was right in not wanting to do that”
• jungwon chirps up with a, “HEY HEY HEY, don’t you think that’s a bit rash?”
• “obviously not if all of you keep doing that”
• jesus, to make matters worse, jake decides to open his mouth
• “you know what guys, you can have the cookies. I have Y/N all to myself, just for me!”
• “not anymore!”

• he doesn’t wanna admit that he’s too shy for PDA
• he instead says that he’s ‘too cool’ for it
• what a load of bull
• of the entire hyung line, he gets the most shy
• lots of blushing, stuttering, his face contorts to that of a squishy boy rather than a somewhat stoic guy
• but to be honest, he LOVES, absolutely ADORES affection on the inside, he just prefers that it’s private
• as per usual, you were about to visit sunhgoon at the practice room after your shift at work
• it’s a winter day so you’re all bundled up in your best coat, hat and gloves
• but as you step in the Hybe headquarters, you feel the rush of heat taking over your body
• these guys over at Hybe really don’t skimp out of heating
• good for them honestly
• so now you’re left in your regular clothes while hauling around your large puffer jacket
• you entire the practice room and see that it’s devoid of people, dancing and sweating for their upcoming comeback 
• you inquire with one of the staff on where the boys of ENHYPEN are and are told that they’re in the recording studio, cleaning up some vocals and adding some finishing touches
• you quietly allow yourself in the studio, sitting down on the pleather couch and wait until they’re done
• 15 minutes pass and all 7 members leave the booth, bottles of water in their hands to sooth the strain of their throats
• while you were waiting for them you heard their clean voices exuding from the glass and the way your hoonie sang with passion filled you to the brim with pride
• so you being you, had to let him know that
• upon seeing you, sunghoon waves but you interupt him before he could say anything
• skipping up to him, you take both of his hands in yours and jump up and down
• your intention was to gush over his singing but when you noticed how freezing his hands were, you actions did a 180
• “Oh, hoonie you’re freezing! how can you go about work when you’re like this?!”
• you’re now under his protective care
• you shove your hat on his neatly styled head and wrap you jacket around your shoulders
• with his hands still in your grip, you bring them to your mouth and blow on them, trying to make them warm
• as much as he loves it when you baby him, he really doesn’t like it when you do it in front of the members
• but you can’t help it though :((
• you just wanna take care of him like he deserves
• so you don’t back down!!
• “y/nnnnnnnnnn, come on-”
• “no! you barely take care of yourself and this is how i have to greet you? no unacceptable!”
• he leans his head back to groan but doesn’t protest any further becasue he knows exactly how worried you get over him
• you usher him to the couch while you leave the studio to bring him some hot tea, both to warm him up and sooth him throat
• it’s kind of ironic how you were the one out in the cold while he was inside the building
• but you were dressed up and he wasn’t 
• he was in some trousers and button up!!
• after returning, you place him palms around the cup of tea and watch him intently as he sips from it
• by now, the rest of the boys are sitting around, watching while a mischevious gleam in their eyes as you baby your boyfriend
• when sunghoon is done drinking you take the cup from him and do something that completely mortifies him
• leaning close to him, you squish both of his cheeks and rub them side to side, tinting them pink 
• you proceed to talk to him in a baby voice
• “waahhhh hoonie i was listening to you singing and you sound so so so so nice, you always do so well i’m so proud”
• at this point his cheeks aren’t pink from you rubbing but instead out of embarrassment 
• he tries to shoo your hands awar but you’re adamant 
• “y/n, i’m all warmed up now, there’s really no need for this”
• oh but there is!!
• “you don’t have to act all tough in front of the boys, they know just as well how you’re my lil’ baby”
• the maknaes behind you teasingly coo and sunghoon
• jay, with a smirk on his face, adds himself into the conversation
• “aweee come on ‘hoonie,’ you should be happy that you have someone that looks after you like y/n”
• still holding his cheeks, you look back at him and nod your head 
• “yeah! you don’t want me doing this to anybody else, do you?”
• he finally swats your hands away and looks at you sternly
• “don’t get any ideas”
• from there on out, sunghoon, to his dismay, was known as your baby

• he'd noticed once or twice when you were just friends but it's only when you start dating when he realizes just how small your hands are
• esp when you hold hands
• he could look down and only see his hand at certain angles, his engulfs yours completely
• he has to suppress his little giggles when he sees it
• gets so giddy and affectionate

• can't keep his feelings in
• you put your hand on his face to kiss him and he lets out an ungodly sound
• and you're like what the fuck
• and then he grabs your hand and this boy
• he brings it to his lips and kisses it
• and you're frozen
• he's just

• oh god he's broken
• sees your hand next to his and immediately snatches it up to see it better
• tells you so excitedly 🥺

• you don't have the heart to tell him you knew already
• because he's so happy
• everytime he sees your hands near his for the rest of the day
• his heart speeds up and he gets this stupid grin on his face

• probably notices when you share accessories or smth
• gives you one of his rings he thinks would look good on you
• and you put it on and it slides right off
• so then he picks up your hand and really looks
• the ring barely hangs on on your thumb
• and he wears it on his index
• he gets this big smile but probably teases you like
• "smh we can't share rings now why'd your hands have to be so small"

• sees it when your doing something completely mundane
• like cooking or smth and you have to be careful to hold the pan correctly
• and once you put it down you turn around to an open-mouthed sunoo staring at you
• "are you okay?"
• and he fucking tackles you to see your hands
• "THEY'RE SO SMOL YOU'RE SO CUTE"

• is showing you smth on his phone when you reach out to scroll a little
• and he sees your fingers next to his and he's like °0°
• doesn't really tell you but is a lot more touchy and initiates more hand holding from then on
• likes to lace his fingers in yours and bring them up to his lips absentmindedly
• he's so wholesome 🥺

• is just sitting on the couch with you, both of you kind of slumped against each other doing your thing
• and he looks over to see your hand rub at your eyes
• and he's so shocked
• tears your hand away from you face, disregarding your "what the hell?"
• lays your hands against each other to compare
• and his fingers are like a KNUCKLE longer than his
• he gets so giddy and happy

• This is no longer compliant with the fic
• When they were kids, Oikawa’s dad caught Iwa and Tooru taking extra cookies and Iwa started crying bc he thought they were going to jail
• Tooru tells this story to Makki and Mattsun in their first year and has to hide for the rest of practice
• Tooru loves to hide the fact that his dad’s a cop bc people get really intimidated and he loves their reactions
• His dad loves to pick him up from practice in the cop car
• One time, Oikawa’s sister was supposed to pick him up from a party that he wasn’t supposed to be going to, and his sister told their brother who told their dad and long story short, Tooru’s dad and brother ended up busting the party and taking Tooru home
• Iwa would use this story as ammunition against Tooru, but they also took him home
• Makki and Mattsun took snapchats of it and they use it as blackmail
• Tooru considers his lowest point to be when he was trying to avoid his parents and he was near Shiratorizawa and ended up in the same grocery store as Ushiwaka
• They were having a passive aggressive conversation (only on Tooru’s part; Ushiwaka was oblivious to the underlying sexual tension) outside the store, and Tooru’s dad parked across the road and used the megaphone to get his attention and Tooru left in the cop car
• To this day, Ushijima thinks Tooru got arrested (he texted him afterward to see if he was okay and Tooru left him on read)
• The Oikawa siblings didn’t get away with shit as kids and they are still bitter
• This also means that Takeru will never get away with anything bc they all consider it a right of passage: none of the Oikawas get to do anything rebellious ever bc that’s how it works
• Dating was a hassle and the dates would never go to the house EVER bc they’re like “yeah, my dad works in, like, an office…” and do not want their dates scared off
• Imagine like a Sheriff Stilenski situation from teen wolf
• I just find the concept really funny

• long story short by Taylor Swift: Def enemies to lovers shit. Especially the bridge “no more keeping score, now I just keep you warm.” I also love the slow burn of UshiOi to just Oikawa being like “oh shit I love him” so the part at the end where it’s like “and he’s passing by, rare as the glimmer of a comet in the sky. And he feels like home; if the shoe fits, walk in it everywhere you go”
• Can I Be Him by James Arthur: Definitely an Ushiwaka song. Oikawa is so oblivious to his affections and Ushi is just pining so hard in his own way. Sometimes he thinks Oikawa might like him back but he’s not sure and it’s frustrating to not know if this guy he thinks the world of even wants him.
• I’m Just Your Problem from Adventure Time: This whole scene screams UshiOi. Ushijima is Princess Bubblegum and Oikawa is Marceline
• enough for you by Olivia Rodrigo: Ushijima just wants to be enough for Oikawa. I see this as some of the toxic parts of UshiOi before they work themselves out. In this context, I see it as more of like a pre-relationship take on how they become friends, and the end would be like what his friends tell him, how someone else is gonna want him
• Mr. Perfectly Fine by Taylor Swift: Connecting it to UshiOi, I see it as Ushijima moving on (or trying to) and Oikawa cannot take it. He realizes how much he misses Ushijima in his life, and he doesn’t know how to fix it. Because Ushiwaka seems perfectly fine without him
• Goodbye, My Danish Sweetheart by Mitski: Another break up song for UshiOi. “But maybe when you tell your friends, you can tell them what you saw in me and not what I turned out to be” is such an Oikawa lyric, saving face when it’s all said and done
• King Of My Heart by Taylor Swift: Timeskip UshiOi. So cute for them. “And all at once, you are the one I have been waiting for… you’re all I want, I’ll never let you go” and of course “Your love is a secret I’m hoping, dreaming, dying to keep”

• Tendou gives Iwaizumi his number after the last Seijoh v. Shiratorizawa game (shameless flirt with the ace)
• Iwa thinks he’s j joking around so he accepts, completely oblivious
• Oikawa saw the whole thing and Knows
• He says to Iwa on the bus “If I have to start hanging out with Ushiwaka-chan, the gray hairs I develop from close proximity will be your fault”
• Iwa was just like “wat” bc he doesn’t think they’re even going to text after this
• They start texting
• Tendou sends him a meme that is Actually Funny and Iwa doesn’t know him well enough to leave him on read and he would normally ignore a meme but he doesn’t want to be too rude
• They mostly talk ab movies and manga bc Tendou gives him good manga recs and Iwa is a totally movie nerd and insults Tendou until he FaceTimes him and they watch the movie together
• Tendou watches it and talks to Iwa as he does it
• Iwa is disappointed?? When Tendou flips around the camera to the movie so Iwa’s not looking at him anymore
• They avoid Ushijima and Oikawa in all their conversations and they both can tell but it’s just bc they’re getting along?? Even tho Iwa’s from Seijoh and Tendou’s from Shiratorizawa
• Finally, Iwa complains one day ab Oikawa making fun of him for texting Tendou and Tendou says Ushijima has actually been asking him if Iwa has said anything ab Oikawa
• Iwa says that they might actually get along if Oikawa wasn’t constantly at Ushijima’s throat
• Tendou gets an Idea
• long story short (evermore by ts reference intended), they get Ushiwaka and Oikawa to go to the movies with them
• Tendou told Ushi it was an outing with reon and semi and Iwa told Oikawa they were going with MatsuHana
• Tendou and Iwa got there early and reserved seats for them and were like “oh no the only seats available were two and two and we rly wanted to sit together so can you guys take the pair in front of us?”
• Oikawa almost kills both of them on sight
• IwaTen sits towards the back and watches UshiOi sit together
• It starts off awful (Oikawa asks Ushijima for his Twizzlers even tho he hates them and proceeds to eat all of them bc he didn’t want to drop them and make a mess for the employees so he j eats all of them)
• Ushijima is noticeably Irritated by this but he’s still rly polite and it makes Oikawa feel bad
• He ends up giving Ushijima his popcorn but Ushijima makes them share and it’s just
• IwaTen watches them accidentally touch hands in the popcorn tub multiple times
• IwaTen also gets way too close as they whisper ab the two and Iwa realizes that he likes Tendou and Tendou the guess monster notices or at least thinks he knows what happened so he asks if he can kiss him and they have a short make out session in the back of a movie theater, surrounded by children as they watch Frozen II bc it was the only movie that was full enough for it to be believable that there weren’t any empty seats of four in a row
• When they remember ab UshiOi, they notice that they’re sitting closer bc Oikawa wanted to talk to Ushijima ab the movie and Ushijima,,, is j so Red in the face bc of how close they are
• Oikawa doesn’t even realize it bc he just wants to talk ab the movie and he likes the small grins he pulls out of Ushiwaka when he makes a particularly funny remark
• But then Olaf dies and Oikawa starts crying and IwaTen expose themselves by laughing so loud they get kicked out of the movie
• They sit on the floor in the hallway outside and realize that they definitely got rid of the animosity between the two (which was the whole Idea) but they probably just made UshiOi a thing and Iwa’s like “oh NO” and Tendou laughs at him until they start making out again
• UshiOi is not impressed when the movie ends and they walk out and find them in that position half an hour later
