36, ace, secretly 50 fandoms in a trenchcoat

but seriously if anyone’s followed me for something specific I should warn you since lockdown started I’ve bounced between about 20 different hyperfixations like a ping-pong ball in a dryer.

edit: okay going through my queue and recent posts it looks like mostly what you need to watch out for is swear words, mild horror, and the occasional reference to sex that doesn’t get more explicit than a condom PSA.  I’ll try to tag anything worse as NSFW, and please let me know if I miss something.

We've seen time and time again, Guillermo taking Nandors words in a romantic sense and being let down not even seconds later. We see this for the last time in episode 1, season 4, where Nandors asks Guillermo to be his best man. In this scene it is clear he had thought something else was going to be said even if it was just a little thought at the very back of his mind, he recovers quickly however and that is that.

When Nandor eventually realises his feelings towards Guillermo, I want him to be so so obvious with them but Guillermo, who does not want to misinterpret things again, willfully misinterprets things to the point where its just frustrating the hell out of Nandor.

Idk, just a thought

Nandor has quoted shows before, plz god let him do hank hills ‘im approaching you with romantic intentions’

First humans ever to leave the solar system suddenly drop out of communications and the ship can't be found with any equipment. After one month of no contact their home countries start reluctantly holding funerals for the space heroes only for them all to turn up, healthy, well fed and extremely disoriented, in the middle of Tokyo, talking about alien abduction. Turns out that aliens found the poor humans straying out of their solar system, presumably lost, and took them to Alien Wildlife Rehabilitation before dumping them back in the middle of their native habitat.

I’ll bet they have cool new tattoos that turn out to be tracking devices too. Just in case these spirited individuals try to make another break for it.

Avatar

... do the tats make them stupid popular, like that time scientists gave birds tracker anklets and it accidentally made them ultra fuckable

Let’s say yes. Those alien scientists are learning so much, and none of it is accurate.

harvey said him and k*yvan filmed a "devastating" scene between them in s5 at the panel

nandor is feeling guillermo slipping away

it's the most emotional season harvey has had to film, and he's never cried so much whilst filming

there's gonna be "hardship and heartbreak"

the dots are connecting, and not in a way we want them to

No, I feel like this is exactly what we want. If we have six seasons, season five needs to be the Nandor 'oh' moment as well as the nadir before they come back together. And tying that to Guillermo's dream, and even Guillermo being the one to fuck up in a way by going and getting turned behind Nandor's back and then not telling him? This is perfect. This is eleventh hour breakup, curtains close on a kiss material.

Potential direction for the "Sexiest, filthiest, almost stomach-turning episode that involves all the vampires" we have been promised: They're doing another orgy episode.

Guillermo has been turned, and being as he has better connections than Derek in the vampire community, this means the household is throwing him the traditional welcome orgy.

He's feeling a bit nervous and is spending the episode psyching himself up to it, because while he has no objection to the concept and definitely isn't a virgin, he's still got a bit of Catholic guilt to overcome. Also performance anxiety because having sex with an audience is a little intimidating.

Nadja and Laszlo are looking forward to it; hooking up with a familiar is one of the few taboos in vampire society that isn't considered the fun kind so they didn't seriously think about him in that way before, but it would be RUDE to snub him at his first orgy. When they're alone with the cameras, they also admit that an ass like that would be wasted on mortality, so they're glad he got turned.

Vampire society as a whole is eager to attend; this is one of the few opportunities they have to indulge in a slayer kink without the Council getting involved. Guillermo only being interested in men is considered odd but not an uncommon issue for vampires who haven't had a century or more to shed human hang-ups. The Guide tells Guillermo he should have told her about it before, she's fine just watching.

Preparations are made for some of the weirder kinks that vampires develop, possibly including a way to stake someone without it being fatal. Silicone stakes, maybe?

Colin is looking for an opportunity to make this orgy as awkward as possible(because a guy's gotta eat), and he finds it in Nandor.

Nandor has, for possibly the first time in his existence, had a moment of emotional self-awareness. He recognizes the weirdly intense and negative feelings he has regarding the orgy; he's jealous because he loves Guillermo. Colin encourages him to make his feelings known in a grand dramatic gesture.

So when the orgy guests have arrived and Guillermo has finally reached the point he's fully looking forward to the event, Nandor stands before the crowd. He declares that he is in love with Guillermo and wishes to be exclusive with him.

The genuine affection and interest in monogamy is an instant mood-killer and the orgy is ruined.

Guillermo is pissed at Nandor because that's the worst possible way he could have confessed. Nandor is devastated at the rejection. Colin is FEASTING.

Other Laszlo theory, this time regarding turning the baby:

It wasn't intentional. He'd been enjoying a night on the town and had a bit of drug blood, when he came across a woman who looked tasty. He drains her, and once she's gone he notices the stroller next to her (why was she out on the street with a baby at night? IDK, maybe the kid had colic and she thought some fresh air and a walk might help). Baby starts crying. Laszlo doesn't want to kill a baby but has very little concept of how to get one to quiet down. Between panic and drug blood, the only solution he could think of was sticking a finger in its mouth so it had something to suck on.

. . . which would have been a better option had he not cut his finger earlier.

Once he realized he'd turned it, his immediate thought was "What's the funniest thing I could do with a vampire baby?" and that's where the "I was bored" part came in.

He didn't want to admit to this because as far as he's concerned the only thing worse than turning a baby is doing it accidentally.

Theory: Laszlo was only partially Jack the Ripper.

Laszlo was in England, going by "Jack" as usual (while Laszlo had sworn never to return, Jack had made no such promise). He was staying in Whitechapel with a roommate and didn't plan anything more sinister than his prior time as Spring-Heeled Jack.

He got to know the local prostitutes and only occasionally fed on one, because lbr he still got hungry.

Unknown to him, his roommate had been following him and mutilated the bodies once he had left the scene. He eventually found out due to discovering a taunting letter the guy had been writing to the police, using his alias.

Laszlo killed him, of course, because if nothing else, using someone's alias is a dick move.

Theory came about as I was thinking about it, and while Laszlo murdering a bunch of people is just life as normal for a vampire, the mutilation didn't seem like his style.

can you imagine the poor people who had to go figure out what happened on Crockett Island, though

like obviously there’s been a catastrophic fire, so they’re prepared for the worst, but what they find is way, way weirder than ‘the worst’

there are bodies in some of the houses, sure, burned past recognition or to the point where their cause of death would be obvious. but there are also bodies … outside? in the roads or the public areas? and some of them may be a little damaged by fire but they obviously died from having their throats ripped out??? and the sheriff is on the beach, dead of a gunshot wound??? the town doctor also died of a gunshot wound but she’s in a completely different place on the island (and her body was obviously moved there after her death)????

and overall there are just nowhere near as many bodies as there should be? Crockett Island had a population of just about 120 people but there are only, say, 70-80 bodies???? where did everybody else go????

and the only two survivors are two teenagers who are just like “uh, yeah, we took a romantic canoe trip. we weren’t on the island. we have no idea what happened.” (and one of them is paralyzed from the waist down? you don’t think the guy with her could have carried her out to the beach to get her in the canoe but he must have, right????)

just, can you even imagine. the buzzfeed unsolved episode. about Crockett Island.

Not to mention, when there’s a major fire – especially one that caused multiple deaths – there’s going to be an arson investigator.  They’re going to realize that fires were deliberately started in more than one place – and possibly realize that more than one person was involved in setting the fires.  It doesn’t seem like the two survivors were the cause(… I don’t want ‘em blamed so let’s assume that the attempt to assess their characters indicates they’re not the type to do that, as the criteria doesn’t account for arson in self-defense). So what was it? A murder-suicide pact? Mass hysteria?

There will probably be enough left of the infrastructure for them to realize that the cell tower and power were taken out deliberately.  They’ll realize that someone didn’t want anyone to be able to call for help – but they won’t know who, or why.

… oh. Would questioning the kids get weird, when they’re first rescued – someone tries to reassure them that their families might’ve made it out okay, and realizes both are 100% certain none of them did?

Avatar

Pretty sure they’re gonna figure there was some kind of mass hysteria, that ended with fire and murder

Even mass hysteria wouldn't cover everything. All the evidence will point to absurd levels of effort taken to ensure that everyone on the island died, and that some degree of premeditation was involved. There'll be people on the mainland who could report that the ferry hadn't made its usual run, all lines of communication were cut off, every vessel larger than a rowboat was torched individually . . . not to mention the fact that a lot of the bodies weren't recovered.

They'll find cot frames in the rubble of the community hall and conclude that at some point an attempt was made to give survivors a place to stay, but there's no bodies in the hall itself? Even the church has bodies, and -- shit, they'll probably realize those people did NOT die from the fire.

On top of that, the kids aren't talking. Even when the line of questioning gets into "uh. Did almost everyone else on the island snap and start killing people? Were your parents involved in this . . . murder-suicide pact?" when that's normally the time that a kid will try to defend their parents but there's awkward silence that comes from realizing your parents technically committed suicide at least once.

(if they do say anything, it's possible they'll be willing to say Bev Keane was the instigator. Because screw her reputation)

Buzzfeed Unsolved will get there first, but documentary crews will soon follow.

The Midnight Club - Season Two

I'm very disappointed that Netflix has decided not to pursue a second season of THE MIDNIGHT CLUB.

My biggest disappointment is that we left so many story threads open, holding them back for the hypothetical second season, which is always a gamble.

So I'm writing this blog as our official second season, so you can know what might have been, learn the fates of your favorite characters, and know the answers to those dangling story threads from the first season.

So for those of you who want to know what we were planning to do, here's a look at what would have been season 2!

AMESH Season 2 would open with Amesh, his glioblastoma advancing quickly. He would tell the first story of the season, but would be struggling to make it through. We'd focus on his love story with Natsuki for those first few episodes as it becomes clear that Amesh's death is imminent.

Meanwhile, Ilonka is trying to reconcile how she was fooled by Julia Jayne, all while falling further in love with Kevin, and she realizes he may be fading faster than he lets on.

Ilonka begins a serialized story in an effort to encourage him to "stay alive a little longer," like he did in season one. And the story she tells is... REMEMBER ME.

This was the thing I was most excited about for this season.

REMEMBER ME is one of my all-time favorite Pike books - it tells the story of a teenage girl who is pushed off a balcony, and awakens as a ghost. She has to navigate being a spirit while trying to solve her own murder. We would have stretched this story out over 5 episodes. We were going to use it as a vehicle for Ilonka to try to come to terms with the fact that she is going to die, and to begin to trying to wrap her head around being a ghost... but this is the coolest part... the lead character of Ilonka's story wouldn't be played by Ilonka. She'd be played by...

Anya.

Because this is how we live on, isn't it? In the minds of those we leave behind. And Ilonka would use REMEMBER ME as a way to imagine her dear friend Anya, waking up as a ghost, navigating the afterlife. And this sets up one of the best mechanisms of the show - even if a character dies, as long as they're remembered by members of the club, they live on in their stories.

As the story starts to pick up steam, though, the group will have to deal with the death of Amesh, which he greets with grace and bravery.

In his final moments, he sees someone in his room - the Janitor from the first season, as played by Robert Longstreet, who says comforting things to Amesh even though he can't respond.

In his final, final moments, the SHADOW descends upon Amesh, and he is engulfed into it, which reinforces the idea that the Shadow is DEATH...

With Amesh's death comes something that upends the entire thing: a NEW PATIENT. We didn't work out too much about who this would be, but it would be a new roommate for Ilonka. Someone taking Anya's old bed. Ilonka would find herself being initially cold to her - just as Anya was when Ilonka arrived. Even feeling like this new girl shouldn't necessarily be ushered into the Club. But of course they would develop a beautiful friendship over the course of the season. The new girl joins the club, where something else exciting is happening - Cheri is telling a story. We hadn't decided which one, but I think it might have been MONSTER.

Natsuki would be the next to die, which would be heartbreaking. And again, she would talk to the janitor just before it happened... and again, the Shadow would come in the final moments.

For Spence, though, things would take a different turn.

The advancements in HIV treatment in the late 90's would come into play, and we'd see his prognosis change. The HIV cocktail came out in Dec 1995, and we really wanted to explore that.

Spence would ride the swell of antiviral advancements, and by the end of the season, he'd no longer be classified as terminal. In the finale of season 2, Spence would leave Brightcliffe just like Sandra did in Season 1, heading off to manage his disease and live the rest of his life.

But onto the BIG MYSTERIES of the season one... here are some answers: What is up with Dr. Stanton's tattoo and bald head? Well, a few things. First, Dr. Stanton is actually the daughter of the original Paragon cult leader, Aceso. Her nickname was Athena, she wrote the Paragon journal that Ilonka found in S1. She turned on her mother and helped the kids escape, but because she was part of the cult in her teenage years, she had the tattoo.

It was her initials that Ilonka found carved into the tree in season 1 (her maiden name was Georgina Ballard, hence the G.B. that Ilonka finds carved in the tree).

She hated what her mother became, and the atrocities of the cult. She reclaimed the property after her mom was gone, and wanted to change it into a place that celebrated life. She was trying to undo her mother's legacy and leave something behind that was beautiful. She is wearing a wig at the end of S1 not because of a sinister reason, but because she is undergoing chemo. Dr. Stanton has cancer. Having helped so many people deal with disease, she now has to deal with it herself.

Her treatment would be successful, and she'd go into remission, but having to face that - while caring for the terminal kids at Brightcliffe - was going to be a very introspective arc for Stanton.

What about the Living Shadow? It's Death, right? Well... no.

At the end of the season, Kevin will die... followed shortly by Ilonka. And as she is dying, two things will happen. First, she'll find herself talking to the Janitor, played by Robert Longstreet... and she'll make a discovery.

HE is Death. And nothing to be afraid of. It turns out no one else ever saw this character. Stanton has a cleaning service, and the Nurse practitioners make up the rooms - the only people who ever saw this mysterious Janitor were the patients. He is Death, and offers them kind words before they die. Then what was the Shadow?

This is an idea we take directly from the book REMEMBER ME, and we'll see it play out in the final moments of Ilona's final tale. In Pike's book, Shari is pursued by a dark entity called The Shadow. When it finally catches her, though, it turns out it is not a bad thing at all.

The Shadow is THEMSELVES. It's the Unknown. As it engulfs someone, in the last moment of their life, it takes them through a place of understanding and catharsis, preparing them for the next step.

THIS is what happened to Anya in S1 when the Shadow finally reached her - that's why she fantasized a life beyond Brightcliffe, which ultimately let her find acceptance of her death. It looks different for everybody, depending on their mind-set - because it is simply an extension of themselves.

The Shadow is just the final catharsis, a return to our original form - it is a moment of true understanding, and once we experience it, we move on to the next place.

We see the Shadow in full effect when it finally comes for Kevin. KEVIN DIES with Ilonka at his side, and it leads to the biggest reveal of the season:

Who were the Mirror Man and the Cataract Woman?

They were Stanley Oscar Freelan and his wife, who built Brightcliffe (fun trivia, he is named after the real-life Freelan Oscar Stanley, who built my favorite hotel in America - the Stanley Hotel. The Stanley is also the inspiration for THE SHINING!).

But more than that... there's a reason that Ilonka only sees Stanley in the mirror, and sees the Cataract Woman whenever she looked at Kevin. This is something else we took from Pike's original book... these aren't ghosts, but glimpses of PAST LIVES.

Ilonka WAS Stanley Oscar Freelan, and Kevin WAS his wife. They've lived many lives this way, and are true SOUL MATES - they always find each other, and they always fall in love. In this life, they knew it would be a short one, so they agreed to find each other in the house they built. They've been "remembering" who they are, and glimpsing their former selves in reflections, and sometimes when they look at each other. This is also why Ilonka's very first words to Kevin in S1 were "Do I know you?" and why Kevin thought she was familiar as well. They are two souls who always find each other, again and again.

The story is this: Stanley was dying, and built this cliffside home hoping that the seaside air would help him. It did, and he far outlived his prognosis (this is also true of the real-life Freelan Stanley). However, his wife began to succumb to dementia.

She would wander the halls, looking for him ("Darling!") and would even forget to feed herself ("I'm starving...") and she eventually refused to leave the basement. Heartbroken for her, Stanley painted the walls to resemble the woodland view, and the ceiling to resemble the night sky, so that it would be a little more beautiful for her.

He also painted a labyrinth on the floor, which was a technique used to try to curb the effects of dementia. She'd walk the pattern of the maze and it was believed it could help her cognition. Eventually, she developed frightening cataracts, but Stanley loved her through it all.

They were soul mates.

So while they seemed scary in season 1, that was just how Ilonka and Kevin's mind were trying to remember their pasts. We even had their faces distorting in ways consistent with how memories degrade over time. When the Shadow comes for Ilonka, and gives her this understanding - this "remembering" - she realizes she has nothing to fear. She and Kevin will shed these personas and be reborn, and have the joy of finding each other another way. The Shadow comes for her, Death takes her gently, and Ilonka goes off with Kevin back into the cosmos, ready for their next incarnation. The series would end with Cheri telling this story to a whole new table of patients, including our new series leads. Most of our original cast now would exist as stories, a story told to the next "class" of storytellers at the table, all of whom we will have met by the end of the season. A story called "The Midnight Club."

Well, that's it... that was what we had in mind. It's a shame we won't get to make it, but it would be a bigger shame if you guys simply had to live with the unanswered questions and the cliffhanger ending. I loved making this show, and I am so proud of the cast and crew. Particularly our cast, who attacked this story with incredible spirit and bravery each and every day.

But for now, we'll put the fire out, and leave the library dark and quiet. To those before, and to those after. To us now, and to those beyond.

Seen or unseen, here but not here.

I'll always be grateful that I got to be part of this Club.

So, the great 'RULES' of the Endless. I know they're meant to be there for their own and everyone else's 'good'. To avoid cosmic imbalance blah blah blah. But look at them from a slightly different angle and they smack of far more insidious Divide and Conquer tactics.

Don't interfere with each others affairs. I mean, technically speaking all your purposes are so deeply interwoven with each other, it's more unnatural to keep them forcefully divided. But if you all could just stay in your own realms, do your own thing and interact as little as possible. That would be grand! Whatever you do, don't work as a cohesive unit!

Don't spill each others blood. Who doesn't want everyone to stay alive and unharmed? Right? But it also handily protects Ma and Da from any form of retaliation. A convenient way to defang the children...Just saying.

And finally don't love mortals. Yes. Please do keep your emotional distance from the very beings whose subconsciouses form and sustain you. Loving a mortal... Uff, that would be like you having a full working understanding of the core of your power. Then sticking your cosmic charger right on in there for a XP boost. The horror!

Seems to me someone really doesn't want the Endless siblings as the united, powerful front they could be... 🤔

Can someone get Hob in here to call bullsh*t on this please?

“So once again who made those rules?” Hob asked idly. He had been bothered by the whole thing since Death had explained, why she hadn’t interfered when Dream first had been captured.

Especially since he had seen the agony in her eyes.

Hob” Dreams voice was low. More like a mountain avalanche than his stranger. Hobs gaze immediately jumped to Dream.

Dream was- if possible- even paler than usual and tenser too. His whole body was shaking with tension. His fingers were wrapped so tightly around the edge of the table, they were sitting on, that the wood was splintering.

A small part of Hob, the one that was the owner of the pub thought “Aw fuck now I need a new table” and was feeling very fucking sad with himself. But the larger part of Hob was alarmed.

He snapped around to look at Death but her eyes were glazed over and empty. Her shoulders and back rounded in a way that made him think of Matthew just before he took to the skies.

“Um guys.”

Before Hob could say anything more Dreams hand snapped out and wrapped around both Hobs and Deaths wrist a second later they where in the Dreaming. Right in front of Lucienne who was sitting on the stairs leading to Dreams throne.

“DREAM!” Death snarled and it was the first time Hob heard her sound as something more than the cheery woman she presented at. There was power in her voice that rattled his bones. Dream growled back. He had changed. No longer a man shaped being. Dream reached higher than the columns framing the room. He was a mass of nebulas and shadows, that were vaguely formed like something between a cat and a raven and Dreams nightmare form. It was shifting and changing constantly.

“What happened?” Lucienne asked softly, almost whispering. As if she was afraid to draw the attention of the siblings to them.

“I asked about the rules” Hob whispered faintly. He could feel the Dreaming. Could feel Dream here, in a way Dream had explained to him once. Because you are my lover, my beloved. My consort

Hob knew things about the dreaming he shouldn’t. He knew how to manipulate and shape it. It was his home just as it was Dreams and Luciennes. Which made the feeling of pure rage and hatred so jarring.

“I asked who wrote them, because they seem awfully suspicious.”

“How?” Lucienne sounded breathless and hopeful. Like she knew something- which she probably did- something that was straining her.

“Because those rules keep them purposely away from each other.” Hob whispered back. Pointing at the two siblings. They were still snarling at each other and even Death had taken another form. Wings and eyes and rings and wow biblically accurate angels suddenly made sense.

“Like, they are the basis of everything that lives. Their work inherently intertwines. Desire and Dreams. One fuels the other. Delirium and Dream. Both there to comfort, often together when the body gives up. Despair goes hand in hand with Death. And Destiny is connected to them all anyway. People dream of changing their Destiny. Desire to stop their fate. You need me to go on?”

Lucienne did react. Just stared helplessly at the two beings in front of them. Silent with tears streaming down her face. The book in her hand was starting to tear apart by the force of Luciennes grip. He was pretty sure those were angry tears.

“He could have been freed.” She finally whispered and Hob winced at the echo in her voice. The sound of ripping paper silenced everything.

Both Dream and Death were back to the forms Hob was familiar with staring at the pieces of book at Luciennes feed.

Destiny.” Dream called out. “Desire, Despair, Delirium.” Every word send waves of power out from Dream. Made the Dreaming shiver with glee. Hob felt the nightmares chatter with excitement. They could feel the blood shed coming.

I do not stand in my gallery. I do not hold your sigils, but I call you. I call you here NOW!

Sand rose again turning into four portals of golden spinning sand. The people in question stepped through silently. Hob watched them all as the sand collapsed. Destiny was hidden in his cloak, but his fingers were white knuckled around his book. Desire, Hob had met them once before after he an Dream got together properly, was silent and their eyes focused. Alarm bells got of in Hobs head, telling him to run. Despair was dripping blood from where her hook was piercing through her palm. Delirium to was silent and for a moment Job thought her eyes were the same colour.

“What is it, big Brother? Why bring us here?” There was no flirting in Desires tone. It was calm and even.

“Because the Dreaming had been sealed of from mother for millennia at this point.” Death stated. Two pairs of her wings where still out and threw long shadows.

And father never truly had a grasp on my realm.”

Safety and assurance. Hob thought, they were here because it was safe. He also noticed the way Destiny straighten. How he grabbed the book tighter. Hob could hear Dream and Death explain, but he didn’t pay any attention.

Destiny was silent and tense. His blind eyes twitching back and forth. The chain with which he was bound to the book rustled.

“Hey Dream?” Hob called out, suspicions rising. “You are not allowed to look into his book right? Not once?”

There is was again the ringing silence. Destiny shifted. His fingers relaxed just a fraction. The chain swung back and forth gently.

Runes caught the light of the stars.

Hob pounced. He grabbed the chain. Runes, familiar runes flared in an deep blue that looked almost black. Destiny flinched hard. Hob screamed when the chain got red hot in less than half a second.

It was Desire who pulled Hob back. Despair who took Hobs burned hand. It was already healing but the imprint was still visible.

Runes. The same runes that had held Dream until less than a year ago. Dream had shown them to Hob by accident once. Hob hadn’t forgotten them since.

Silence hung heavy between them all. Hob felt the Dreaming roar and nightmares and Dreams alike gabbing for weapons. The Dreaming was going to war.

I need your help my siblings.” Dream said softly. The images of kinder days pushed forwards in Hobs mind. Dreams he had had hundreds of times. Of his family of the people he loved.

“I need your help siblings.” Death echoed. Her wings unfolding behind her. Every wound he ever had had flared to live all at once.

“I need your helping siblings mine.” Desire said. Their voice made Hob wish for his old claymore. Made him want the blood and fear of a battlefield. Made him want Elenores gentle touch. Made him long for siblings long dead.

“I need your help siblings.” Despair whispered. The pain of this betrayal finally registered. The fact that so many things never had needed to happen.

“I need your help all of my siblings.” Delirium said and Hob nearly went to his knees. The curtain had been pulled back. He realised just how BIG this was. How convoluted and bad.

“I…” Destiny’s voice was shaking. His fingers once again white against the book he was holding. “I need your help my siblings.” His voice was shaking. His whole body was shaking. None of them hesitated to rush forwards. To guide Destiny to the ground and keep him steady.

Hob, still reeling from understanding what he just started kept staring.

Destiny had put the book down into his lap. His hands wrapped around Deaths and Deliriums.

Sandman question, because my brain has fixated on a weird detail and it's been long enough since my last reread that I forget if it's been addressed somewhere -- was it ever specified what happened to Dream's clothes? Because yeah, they weren't objects of power that he needed to retrieve, but Burgess definitely took them and they must have ended up somewhere.
