it'd be one thing if these people were considerate and empathetic even towards people whose lifestyles differ from theirs. but instead they seem to take real pride in their lack of interest in the lives of millions of people on account of the fact that they find their lifestyles "boring" in some way. none of this would be of any real import were it not for the fact that these are the same people who seem to think that their beliefs are radically progressive
