Things Most Pit/Front Ensemble Players Say In Their Heads When The Band Brings up the "No Marching" Thing

1. Don’t be an ass we work hard too. 2. Actually understand that hey, maybe we’d march too if you could figure out how to play with your hands and simultaneously roll a large metal instrument. (Including rack.) 3. We love the band, why you no love us?

This is our ensemble piece! The pit performs a pop song every year and this it ours! It’s a cover of Rather Be by Clean Bandit! I play the synth see if you can hear it!

All you front ensemble members in high school…annoy all your band friends! And go!

Front ensemble problems:

Wanting to practice your music at home but all you have is a keyboard and you end up viciously poking it with your pointer fingers during fast runs.

I dont understand how mallet percussionists in the pit do those crazy runs like do you guys actually think about every individual key that you’re hitting or do you just move your mallets rapidly in one general direction and hope that it’ll work out
