Me in 2022 when the pandemic hasn’t ended yet because people don’t know how to act right and I’ve been holed up in my house for three years acquiring a new flavor of crazy, going to open the door for the guy in the hazmat suit that’s come to deliver my groceries

with the tags and search officially being completely broken on all platforms (no new posts are showing up in them anymore), now feels like a good time to remind everyone that the only way to help creators is to reblog their stuff. even before the tags were busted most people found new creators through their content being rebloged onto their dash, and now, at least for the time being, that will be the Only way to find and spread things.

Fast reblog is a thing, you dont have to leave comments, you dont have to leave tags, just reblog stuff if you want to keep seeing new content being posted to this site.

and as a final note, with this change likes are officially completely pointless for content creators. up till now they served to boost a posts placement in the tag searches (a post tagged #girl with 40 likes would show up higher in the search than a post tagged #girl with only 10 likes,)

The Cod Empire

Jimmy's empire is located in a swamp, but not just any type of swamp, it's a salt marsh, where the water flows right into the ocean, his sister's domain, which would mean he should have salt water animals only, but I'm throwing in normal fresh water animasl too just because I think they live higher up in the kingdom where the levels of salt in the water are lower. So obviously we got fish hybrid people and merpeople who can have cod traits, obviously, but there's also a few not in game fish such as seatrout and redfish. Moving on, with the news of the Wild Update, I really think there's amphibian people, as well as reptile folk. There's more so toad people than frog people, but they both exist in the Cod Empire, as for the reptiles, there's both terrapin and alligator hybrids. Adding on to small animal, there's also snail people called cochlealims, which are basically snail centaurs. We also got a few avians who can have duck, stork, songbird or sparrow characteristics. Along with all those, there's lastly furcritters which are otter people, mink people and raccoon people, and mossian nymphs, who can control said plant.

Fish folk, amphibians, reptile folk, furcritters and mossian nymphs all have beastly eyes and ears (or in the fish folk's case, fins with a whole in front of them), unnatural skin tones, such as muddy green, grey and lime green, and human skin that slowly transitions into scales, moist skin, fur or moss.

Fish folk, and reptile folk have scales around they're face, going down from their forearm and down their knees, the same mutations occurring with the amphibians' smooth skin, the furcritters' fur and the avians' feathers to some extent, the last having feathers that end at the calf and then turn into their correspondent bird's feet. Merpeople and cochlealims have a mostly human upper body, the animal part starting from the waist down.

terrible years really make you understand the point of a new year. i know nothing much will have changed between dec 31 and jan 1, but we need to be able to partition off everything that’s happened to us, we need a moment to say, ‘that’s done, we’re done with it, it’s over’ and have a little hope that the future will be different. we need to be able to stop and take a breath and sing, in the middle of winter, and prepare ourselves for spring.

Super fucking funny that Scott just decided "I'm the main character I am god's chosen one I am immune to evil I am thousands of years old and I will never truly die" like he wrote a twenty page prophecy about himself and the entire server completely enabled him. My favorite thing about empires is that no one questions each other's lore if joey decided he was capital G God every one on the server would be like "omg did you know Joey is the second coming of Christ???" and they'd build a church to Joey Graceffa and it would feel totally reasonable

No, I mean the tumblr labs' Reblog Balls

It was a feature where you could see the size of a tumblr user's balls in each post they were in. The more people reblogged directly from them, the bigger their balls.

It was interesting because as soon as a contrarian rant, shit take, insane reply and/or dumb addition was added to a post, you could check these and, inevitably, you'd find a common link responsible for the spread of the shit version of said post, and I just found fascinating how awful tumblrs were interconnected.

I guess you could use it to curate your dash by blocking/blacklisting everyone in the Shit Chain, but I was always too lazy to do it.

Will may have learnt How To Pirate from Jack, from the first film and that crazy rescue mission (I mean, the last scene at the gallows says everything to me — the hat, the dramatic sword throw, the teamwork with the rope — he’s Jack’s protégé whether he likes it or not) And for a while I thought the same thing about Elizabeth, only then I realised: she didn’t learn piracy from Jack. She learnt it from Barbossa.

She’s always been more ruthless than Will, more efficient, more fierce. Most of the first film, she spent with Barbossa, and she knew he was dangerous. She was exasperated with Jack and underwhelmed by him when they were marooned, and came up with her own plan, completely without his help. She schemes and lies and plays it smart, she’s proud and dignified and she knows it.

If Will was Jack’s unwitting protégé, Barbossa was Elizabeth’s unwitting mentor.
