Update 7/10/19: I’ve been made aware the link no longer works.

Current thoughts: This is just a theory I decided to throw out there several months ago after watching season 2 a few times and haven’t really kept tabs on it to see if it holds through season 3 or not. Once I’ve watched all of S3 a couple times over I’ll post a critique of my old theory. Whenever I get around to binging shows again lol.

I like the discussions the viewing order has generated of which characters know what when, and which events happened first. Luka post-Silencer

Stick with me now, okay so we knew from the start of this season that Luka was going to get the Snake miraculous, but after Silencer this miraculous for him makes SO MUCH MORE SENSE. Just look at Silencer’s powers. He is able to practically hypnotize people as he steals their voices, as slippery as a snake. And when I think of a snake hero with a lyre, I feel like hypnosis is the most likely connection to make. Luka is 100% going to have powers like a snake charmer Silencer only further convinced me. Silencer just showed us HOW AWESOME HE IS GOING TO BE as a hypnotic hero, if his villain form is anything to go by.

Oblivio stripped marinette and adrien to their most raw and real characters ((and exposed their love languages))

-adrien falls in love quickly and expresses his love through verbal affirmation

-marinette takes a little longer to fall in love and expresses her love through actions

adrien was quick to fall for marinette and express how he feels for her; “no wonder i fell in love with you”, “i’d never be able to hide my identity from the girl i love”, “i don’t need my memory to know that i love that girl”

marinette took a little longer to do so. it wasn’t until adrien offered to fight beside her without his kwami or his powers that she confesses that she was “starting to understand how much [he] means to [her]”

this would explain why adrien never notices that marinette is in love with him when she gives him presents on his birthday, made a special macaron for him, etc. adrien DID realize marinette was “in love with chat noir” because she literally said she was, in a state of panic.

this would also explain why ladybug never takes chat noir’s flirting seriously and reacts poorly to it. it wasn’t until marinette sees the romantic candle-lit dinner he had made for her that she reacts in a positive way.

EDIT: as @tsscat mentioned, (i can’t believe i didn’t even think of this) marinette literally fell in love with adrien when he apologized and offered his umbrella to her

Listen up haters

All of the reactions I’m seeing for Chris Master are “wtf” “this was a fever dream” and “Thomas Astruc shitpost” and I just want to say that yes, those are all true and I loved this episode. Just because it’s a shitpost or a fever dream doesn’t make it bad, it makes it extra funny and refreshing because we don’t have to take it too seriously, unlike the Hero’s Day saga.
