If you like Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stoines, Eric Clapton, etc… here is the man that wrote many of the songs they got rich playing. Willie Dixon wrote many of the greatest blues songs of all time for Chess Records recording artists like Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Little Walter, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Koko Taylor, Bo Diddley, Lowell Fulson, and others. He also played bass on, arranged, and produced virtually all of the label’s major blues hits. Willie Dixon is the blues as you know it.
