tbh one of the WEIRDEST things in the warriors fandom to me is that there really are people who think that warrior names are gendered or that there is such a thing as “masculine” or “feminine” names when that isnt supported at all in canon mkdgfgkfd like that really is just a made up thing within the fandom
like some people in the warriors fandoms get REALLY up in arms when someone decides to name a molly shadowstrike or a tom daisyheart and im just wondering in what book and what page a character has EVER said “thats a toms name….” in regards to a character having a certain prefix

I headcannon that longtail was one of the prettiest toms in Thunderclan in his youth, and probably would have had numerous cats wanting to be his mate if he wasn’t so cocky and didn’t follow Darkstripe and Tigerclaw around like an imprinted duckling.
