Listen…Christian Yu is a very attractive man and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t also attracted to him. But the difference between me and those types of fans is that I also view him as a human being and a good musician. I simply do not understand people who will listen to him speak about his struggles with mental illness, and listen to his music about the same subject, and just bypass that to prattle on about how he’s “daddy” or whatever. 

Th problem I think is ppl don’t see misogyny as the systemic issue that it is. A man saying misogynist slurs and making threats of sexual and physical violence towards a woman - that’s not him being a misogynist that’s just him being an asshole or a shitty person. Intimate partner violence from a man towards a woman, that’s not a man abusing the power he has over women under patriarchy and the contempt he has because he has been socialized to see women as quite literally objects rather than human beings, that’s just an example of a “toxic relationship” and individual bad behavior that has nothing to with gender. All of these things are examples of individual failings rather than a culture that revolves around the dehumanization of women in every aspect of life, in ppls minds. It’s tiring

I just want to point out that the ppl that are gonna be promoting this album will be Minseok, Kyungsoo, Jongin and Sehun. Aka the four members that just . HATES public speaking. Minseok famous for staring in an episode of Showtime where he managed to not speak a single word. Ksoo who hates fanservice and pandering. Jongin and sehun who both just get kinda shy and start laughing whenever they speak during interviews. How TF is this gonna go? 😂😂😂
