A Restless Truth is queer romance, a murder mystery, an incredibly joyful celebration of being young and full of WANT! Made this poster design for @fahye 's book launch and thrilled to get basically free reign how I wanted to portray these fantastic ladies. Lots of fun historic poster research too.

Featuring seances, magical artifacts, sexual awakenings, theater kids, ladies of all ages with all kinds of strengths and flaws, and overall delightful mayhem and heart. (and ‘Let Maud say ‘fuck’ ‘22!’)

Leggy bastard and sunshine idiot, inspired by some of my all time favourites of Basicbathsheba AU’s. They’re all excellent and made me fall in love with these disaster boys even more than the book did.

My second poster for @fahye‘s A Restless Truth with all the glitzy glamour, chaos and magic (both the real kind and the flashy stage show kind) from the book, and historic White Star Line playing cards I found online, was such a blast working on this!

Wightwick manor and ‘A Marvellous Light’ (The Last Binding trilogy) inspired comfort art. Some are getting magical research done, some are reading victorian erotica and not hiding it, the cats are ‘helping’, normal sunday afternoon stuff. @fahye

More messing around with Edwardian fashion, with characters from A Marvellous Light by @fahye which is full of endearing underdogs and starched collars (and cats that can see ghosts!) The intent was finding out if I can do a Leyendecker-type image without making it Leyendecker-stype people, if that makes sense.

A Marvellous Light by Freya Marske is described as a jock/librarian romance, but in truth it’s more like Art Nerd “interior design is my passion, don’t tell anyone at my boxing club” meets Science Nerd “spells are an incomprehensible mix of physics, programming and contract law, please let me explain in detail” romance.

Fanart as a chance to try designing my own Edwardian wallpaper, the magical houses in this book are so wonderful. @fahye
