Thomas Vinterberg’s daughter, Ida Maria Vinterberg, died in a car collision in Belgium not long into filming Druk.
“She would have played the daughter of the main character in the film. Instead, the script was rewritten for Mads Mikkelsen to have two sons.”

No idea. It’s been on UK Netflix for a while, so I’m guessing this is about US Netflix.
It’s not like Bryan Fuller is doing anything, which has always been the main reason for no season 4. So I suppose if Amazon has dropped the US streaming rights and Bryan isn’t attached to 5 different shows he left half way through production, it’s more likely than it’s ever been.
However the practicalities of creating a show with an international cast in the covid crisis is pretty much the death of that. Didn’t they want to do a Cuba setting too? Maybe you could use a green screen and a cardboard palm tree.
So even if it is commissioned, who knows when it could ever go into production at this point.
