It seems like it was a mistake to start Spider-Woman and Captain America & the Mighty Avengers as event tie-ins. They both made me feel like I was coming in in the middle of something. Plus, Silk was more of the focus in Spider-Woman #1 than Jess was and the main characters in CA&MA were behaving out of character. It was disappointing. :(

Well, the sales on SPIDER-WOMAN don’t really agree with you, but you feel the way you feel about the work.

And it’s not like there weren’t 14 previous issues of MIGHTY AVENGERS for that matter.

I meant creatively, not financially. And we won’t know the financial story on either of them until after the events end.

We have seen that it's selling well though. Plus the new Spider-Woman book was made as a spin off of Spider-Verse, it might not have existed without the event.
