Now it’s something big.

Big enough that it made me log in to this long-unused account.

For the first time in 27 years of Pokemon history, Daisy Oak (aka Blue/Gary’s older sister), a character who has been with us since the beginning, got a TCG artwork. Illustrated by Tomomi Kaneko, it’s part of the most recent “Pokemon Card 151″ expansion - a TCG set that celebrates the first generation of Pokemon, with each one of the original 151 getting its own card (including the long-unseen Kadabra). What a perfect opportunity to give Daisy her long deserved artwork! It remains to be seen whether a Full-Art Secret Rare version of this card exists as well. It is the first official artwork of Daisy since 1996, when she was featured on a New Year postcard illustrated by Ken Sugimori (one of the most elusive artworks in existence and one of the first Pokemon arts in general). It is also the first ever artwork of her current game design, which originates from FR/LG. Before now, we only had the overworld (FRLG and HGSS) sprites and the Fame Checker sprite from FRLG. She didn’t appear in LGPE (so there’s no 3D model for her - maybe Masters could change that?) and was omitted from Origins (now I can forgive that…) and the designs found in her various manga appearances differ greatly. So, this definitely does her justice but I am waiting for more!

(I took so long to open commissions again, I turned undead, haha yes that's the joke)

Anyway, Commissions!

Only 2 Slots this time because that's all I have time for, tbh.

EDIT (27/05/2023): Decided to open 3 more slots now that I'm done with the other commissions! Also, I forgot to inform the last time, but you can inquire about commission progress by DM'ing me either here or at my ko-fi.

If this is the first time you're coming across my work, here's a bit of of what I do:

Drew some of my OCs, The Tentacle Siblings: Basil, Cen and Zel.

They’re half-human-half-alien hybrids that are the protagonists of one of my story ideas, Tentacle Family.

The plot is basically a bunch of slice-of-life shenaningans based around how each member of their family deals with the natural weirdness of their being.

Basil, the oldest sister, does not deal with it very well. Let’s just say that human hormones are already some bs to deal with, imagine mixing non-human ones in it.

It doesn’t help that her siblings kinda get into her nerves, with Cen, the yougest, being a child mad scientist whose favorite guinea pig is her older sister.

Her middle brother, Zel, is just chill. Too chill for her tastes. And everyone else’s.

LMAO

if i'm not mistaken it was some rumours about twt getting into AI bs and some folks were almost deleting all their art in a panic rush

maybe this take shouldn't be coming out of the mouth of an 18 year old still in high school but i think part of maturing or growing as a person should absolutely include learning to get over your vitriolic hatred of children cause i've never seen a responsible, mature adult go on the internet to talk about how much they hate the minors or think a 16 year old is cringe for expressing discomfort over something. what i've seen instead is people going to embarrassing lengths to talk down to teens because they think they're stupid or that their thoughts matter less and if that's how you truly see the world then i believe that you, the enlightened adult in this situation, can make the conscious decision to disengage and swiftly move on with your life. the block button is free

that "the possibility of being subjected to a 14 year old's opinion at any point of my day is a war crime" tweet was kinda funny until I saw someone respond with "you wouldn't have to see that 14 year old's opinion if there weren't thousands of adults in their 20s retweeting it to make fun of it" and tbh it's changed my whole outlook on this stuff
