Capitalism Can Bite Me ™
do you ever remember how capitalism is pretty much solely responsible for all the crap being done to the planet
we have the technology for sustainable energy and we’ve had it for years but the fossil fuel industries don’t want that so nothing gets done
we have hemp which can be used as a sustainable source for paper/clothing but the lumber/fiber industries didn’t want that so they pushed to make hemp illegal despite not even being a drug the same way weed is
we have biodegradable options for plastic but capitalism is just like No That’s Too Much Of A Hassle
we grow enough food to feed everyone via industrial farming that’s horrible for the environment but capitalism would rather destroy that food than give it to people who can’t afford to pay for it
we have enough housing for everyone but capitalism would rather have thousands of homeless people stay on the streets and destroy more ecosystems to build housing that no one but the upper middle class and rich can afford
and then capitalism fools us into believing that individuals are the main problem because we don’t take 5 minute showers or that family owned farms are the problem or that there isn’t even a problem in the first place
End Stage Capitalism is perhaps the greatest evil on this planet
