■ Adam Mickiewicz Monument in Kraków is one of the best known bronze monuments in Poland, and a favourite meeting place at the Main Market Square in the Old Town district of Kraków.
■ The statue of Adam Mickiewicz, the greatest Polish Romantic poet of the 19th century, was unveiled on June 16, 1898, on the 100th anniversary of his birth, in the presence of his daughter and son.
■ In 1940 the monument was destroyed by the Nazis following German invasion of Poland. It was not to be seen in the Square until its restoration in 1955.

Saw this in my dash and as someone studying ancient art this caught my eye.
Sex is beautiful and an art. For centuries artist, writers, and sculptures have depicted sex and love in works since ancient times as a form of expression. Sex in itself is an expression of intimacy and love, such beauty lies within that. Love what you find beautiful, no? I suppose with the way this post was worded, perhaps it seems beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
It also seems that this was aimed to insult a specific group of people. Instead of categorizing a group of individuals as another group for ones self-righteousness, or of all those having a similar beliefs and interest, perhaps take a moment to analyze your own; “People over politics”, am I wrong? I’m sure we can both agree people in this age are guilty of this too often, to which only divides us and makes it incapable of understanding.
