Lance can’t take generous compliment (1).

ok so i rly love the concept of Lance not used to accept the affection he usually gives. Like how he flirts a lot but will get flustered when getting flirted back (Jeremy Shada said this, also somehow confirmed in the show when Nyma flirted back at him).

And I think : “Wait a minute, that shit’s adorable.” and wondering if perhaps it works the same way with sincere compliments too.

He brags/compliment himself a lot > actually not used to ppl complimenting him for real. And did not expect Keith’s response at all (Keith didn’t expect him to react like that either, so).

And oh wow this is long, sorry, i have a lot of feelings about this it seems. Let this human scream, okay?

First Introduction

SO. I’ve done some thinking about what I wanna do with this AU. Instead of keeping it like a regular comic-ish au with random art, I actually kind of wanna make it something interactive that YOU guys can participate in. Where a choice will be given at the end of a scene, and based on the comments you post, the desicion will be made in the next part. If you make the right choices, Keith might begin liking you a little more… ;)

I’ve always loved interacting with my followers, and I think this kind of short comic could be fun! Obviously, it won’t go on forever, I will plan ahead a set course of optional paths up until the ending, which will be mainly focused on Keith and Lance, however there might be some other parts of the other characters thrown in as well. I haven’t set any proper roles for the others yet though, so we’ll see if that ever happens.

I’m not sure how much I’ll stick to DBH’s story, I believe in later parts I’ll deviate (haha get it) from the canon story of Detroit and build up another story for Keith and Lance with more character interaction and eventual romantic options. If you make the right choices of course uhhuhhuhhu

(Also, I did some digging about police ranks, and Keith in this au (late 20s) would be a little too young to be a lieutenant like Hank in the game. So I had to bump him down to a police detective, but keep in mind that it doesn’t change the story of this au, it’s just a thing to keep some consistency c: )

High school AU where Keith & Lance take the same train in the morning

They didn’t know each other’s name at first, Lance thought Keith is hot, Keith thought Lance is cute, but they never talked to each other (shy boys lol)

Until this day, the train was full of crowd, Keith accidentally kabedon-ed Lance

It was awkward at first, but Lance tried make some small talks, then they finally knew each other’s name

Next step: change phone number lol
