Garm did a lovely interview with Banana Chan about her upcoming solo horror paint-by-numbers TTRPG, Forgery!

Its content warnings include demon-fucking, so you know you’re in for a ride.

Anonymous asked:

Hello there ! I'm a RPG fan from France, especially a D&D fan, and I found out your Avernus' maps on your patreon, which I find very beautiful ! I stream D&D once a month, with a crew running Descent Into Avernus ! So, I'd like to know if using them as a background map on my monthly stream of this campaign would be ok for you ? Anyway, I'm considering pledging your patreons, because your work is just AWESOME. Have a nice day, Mathias from France, aka Erelock.

I have no way of knowing how old this ask is, but gonna answer it for future folks who might likewise want to use the maps for streams or paid games.

And the general answer is GO FOR IT! I made the maps for our own stream, because the black & white maps were a little boring for the stream, and I knew our group enjoys a more interactive experience. I shared them online so that others can equally enjoy a prettier map with their game! And as they're based off of WotC IP, they're fully free to use as you wish.

I'd love if credit is given, mostly so others can also find the maps for their own games, but I won't come after you if you don't, as they do have watermarks for this reason. And if you can and are willing to throw a tip my way, Patreon is an ongoing tipjar for me, or you can leave a one-off on Ko-fi.

And for those who wanna find them, here's a link to all the Avernus maps I've made!

And now for something only slightly different, we played some Knave! It’s a classless OSR system, and we used the highly-recommended dungeon The Library Beneath the Sands for our trial of it.

New interview is up! If you like RWBY or Soul Eater, check this game out!

That’s right, our Kickstarter is now fully funded!

With five days left until it’s finished you still have time to join in and get your own keychains. We’ve also picked an updated flag for Polyamorous thanks to input from backers. Our goal now is to reach our one and only stretch goal and make sure all backers get a shiny holographic Progress Heart sticker.

If you can’t back the project, we’d appreciate any reblogs you can give us to spread the word, as we’re a group of LGBTQA+ creators and friends trying to bring our creations to reality with our first Kickstarter.

We’re almost 50% funded in 2 days!

We had a backer reach out to us to let us know our Polyamorous Flag was outdated, and that the community has been figuring out a new design. Seems like there’s no full consensus yet, but we picked out the ones that seem to be the most popular to see how they look on our keychain design.

We’ll be keeping an eye out for which to use, as we hope we can deliver a design polyam people are proud and happy to use! Which is your favorite?

[Image Description: Four ferret hearts, each example with a different polyamorous flag. 1. Blue, red, black stripes with a gold infinity heart symbol in the center. 2. Blue, black, red stripes with a gold infinity heart symbol in the center. 3. Cyan, light red, black stripes with a white circle in the middle that has the heart infinity symbol in a cyan and light red coloring. 4. Light green, dark green, cyan, dark blue stripes with a white heart infinity symbol in the center.]

It's pride month, a rather special time of the year as a group of LGBT+ creators and friends, and this year we're dipping our toes into kickstarter. These keychains may not have much to do with mapping and tabletop, but as a project that started with artwork, and as a creator who still does art, I hope you all don't mind me sharing this project with you all!

The Kickstarter is offering 17 different keychain designs, covering as many flags as we could so that all could be represented. Even if you're not LGBT+ yourself, we hope you like our rainbow options, and are willing to pick one up to show your allyship through them, or gift one to someone you know!

If you can't help with backing us, you can also help spread the word by retweeting our tweet about it or reblog this post! It'd mean a lot to me and @zyoko (the artist and my girlfriend) if you helped us out.
