The Princess Bride - haven't seen!

  • If I've heard of it before: yes, all the time
  • If I would watch it: theoretically yes. will i? idk
  • If I know any of the actors: without looking them up, no

Skins

  • My rating (1-10): This is hard, I haven't rewatched it in...a while. It declined in quality so I can't give it 10, maybe 8? Or 7, if we have to accept that Skins Fire exists lol
  • My favourite character: Effy effy effy effy (but also Naomi, Cassie and Chris)
  • My least favourite character: I'm sorry but I never liked Cook. If I rewatched it now as an adult I think I might though. I also didn't like Tony
  • The character I think I'd be friends with: whoever had the most chill, maybe Emily or Sid
  • The character I think I won't hit off with: most of them lmao. But especially Tony, Michelle, Cook, and also sadly Effy
  • My favourite episode/scene: uhhh the scenes that first spring to mind without looking anything up to remind me is when they randomly sing Wild World at the end of season 1 - iconic!!, any Effy scene but especially when she walks down the school hallway you know what i'm talking about and also when she kissed Freddie in the water and whenever she looks like a drowned rat with eyeliner all over her face a+ character aesthetic, and Emily and Naomi's "everything's so fragile" rooftop scene
  • Whose clothing style I like best: Effy
  • Times I watched it (and if I would again): I watched gen 1 multiple times, gen 2 maybe twice? The rest, once. I would, in theory, watch it again, but I don't know how it hits when you're not an angsty teen anymore lmao

My rating (1-10): 10 for season 1! I didn't finish season 2 (yet?) My favourite character: Nadia My least favourite character: I feel like this show has too few characters in it for me to have a least favorite The character I think I'd be friends with: no one tbh The character I think I won't hit off with: Nadia My favourite episode/scene: whenever Natasha Lyonne says anything Whose clothing style I like best: Nadia (hair is everything) Times I watched it (and if I would again): I watched season 1 twice! I would watch season 1 again

Hi! I’m so happy to see there are more people who are into this ship <3 I take prompts, but I can’t promise I’ll ever actually finish anything I write, haha. I’ve posted one that mentions Lip/Mickey, but it was already recced in the other post you’re referring to. I’m working on a long one now, it’s currently at 25k words, but I don’t know when or if I’ll finish it. 

Also, who cares who doesn’t like this pairing? We’re not forcing them to read any of these fics. They can scroll right past. 

There sadly aren’t many fics for this ship, and most of the good ones were already mentioned in that other post, but here are some more that I remember enjoying. Sorry it’s been a while since I read most of these!

Left  This is good but it’s also mpreg so not for everyone. 

I'm Only Looking For the One to Love A humor fic, but not crack. Not Lip/Mickey endgame. 

Teach Me How To Breathe My favorite! I know it was recced already but I remember loving it so much. 

No One’s Business Short and sweet. 

Through the Looking Glass This is quite a slow-updating WIP but from what I remember it was good!

I like the idea of mickey and lip having crushes on each but at different times. like mickey developed a crush on lip when he was little because he saw this cute boy with curly brown hair and pretty blue eyes and was like 😮😍 and that continued through their teen years which is why he asks lip to do an english paper for him even though he doesn't actually care school, he just gets to talk to this pretty nerd that makes him all nervous for some reason (the crush ended around the time mandy came home crying about some red head 👀). for lip it's a little more bitter sweet because he realized it when ian left for the army. ian left and he was alone and mickey was alone so they started hanging out and drinking together and talking about shit and one day lip looked over at mickey talking about ian and saw how he was so deep thought, how he looked so vulnerable and in love (and beautiful, and he just wanted to kiss him so bad, god, but he didnt because what the fuck, no, he doesnt like mickey, he barely tolerates mickey, absolutely not-) and it only gets worse when ian comes back and mickeys essentially living there now because everywhere he looks is just mickeys blue eyes and mickeys snarky laugh and mickeys soft voice talking to his brother instead of him and now he's wearing his shirt and christ. eventually it wears off, but they both still think about it, when they're seated at the dinner table at the gallaghers and they look at each other and for a minute, they just kinda gaze in a wistful 'oh what could have been kinda way" until liam asks one of them to past a napkin and they snap back to reality, their very happy and beautiful reality).
