@miagic I can’t reblog the original post because I’m blocked.

homophobia is a logical result of trans ideology. If a woman is anyone who identifies as a woman, and lesbians are attracted only to women, then a male who identifies as a woman can pressure lesbians into accepting him as a potential sexual partner. To disagree with that would be to contradict the first premise: a woman is anyone who identifies as a woman. That’s how trans ideology sanctions homophobia. Pointing that out, and presenting instances of it happening, isn’t an unfair generalization.

Transwomen are men. I know that makes you uncomfortable, but it’s true. You need to touch back down to reality because right now you’re entirely disconnected.

Radfems and gender critical feminists say that women are female. Put another way, female people exist and “woman” is the word we have for them. Being female isn’t an unfair limitation radical feminists place on womanhood to justify excluding some people. It just is the definition of woman. Not because the word woman existed and needed a definition, but because female people existed and needed a word.

Feminism is a movement for female people. Every female is included in its focus. No man is. Yes, even the ones who identify as trans.

Trans activism isn’t kind. Truth isn’t bigotry. Creating a network for the purpose of monitoring people for wrongthink, branding them Evil, and preemptively silencing any dissenting opinions before you even read what they’re saying and decide for yourself isn’t how a normal, open society functions. It’s how a cult functions.

“it’s a fair generalization” are you kidding me? you just used a textbook example of bigotry. generalizing an entire marginalized group for one person to fit your own hateful agenda. let’s just bring up the fact that you don’t even respond to all my points. first you belittle me in your response and act as if i can’t form my own opinion, you give snarky remarks and twist my words. then when you reply again and talk in circles. you do realize that there is more to women than their genitalia and reproductive system? you do realize that misogyny goes deeper than just that? you do realize that the men oppressing women don’t like trans women? misogynistic people do not care about cis vs trans. they care about controlling minorities and staying on top. trying to make this a cis women vs trans women is ridiculous.

next time you try to argue and declare someone stupid for calling out transphobia you should definitely address all the points I made and not one.

terfs brand trans people, in specific trans women evil. that’s their whole thing.

you are arguing with a sixteen year old on tumblr dot com. and saying that it’s like a cult, grow up, read a book that isn’t filled with anti trans propaganda and touch some grass please. i can’t take you seriously when the first thing you did was to put me down and act as if I wasn’t capable of forming my own opinion- that’s not how a normal, open and healthy society functions.

i literally went through and addressed your points in this order: “1. its not fair to use one tweet to generalize, 2. transwomen are women, 3. radical feminists place restrictions on how a woman must be, 4. feminism isn’t feminism if it doesn’t include men, 5. you’re bigoted, I’m kind.” I didn’t twist anything or talk in circles.

Women are female humans. Of course they’re more than their genitalia; they’re people. But they’re people of a particular sex, which distinguishes them from men. Get a better argument than “defining women as female reduces them to their sex!!!” It only sounds good on the surface. It’s not actually good.

Female oppression is built on controlling female reproduction. That’s the historical basis for it. And being female continues to be the basis on which women and girls are disadvantaged, regardless of how they identify, regardless of other variations among them (race, wealth, sexuality, etc.). Female biology and women’s oppression are inseparable. Being hated by men, or mistreated by men, as you say transwomen are, doesn’t mean you’re experiencing misogyny (which literally means hatred of the female).

I’ll say it again. Transwomen are men. They have male privilege. They aren’t a subset of women, let alone a particularly marginalized subset of women.

you didn’t adress all my points! reread what i said, terfs idealogies have hurt poc and specifically black women, you ignored that and there are plenty of posts listing why (and adding sources) if you don’t know that part. you did adress the point where generalizing marganizeld groups is bigotry but the only thing you did was defend it.

also do you think that the people opressing women on the street treats (passing) trans women differently than a cis woman? do you think that before they decide to harass women they stop to think to themselves “wait, could this be a trans woman?” and proceeds to ask if they are and then kindly leave the person alone and go on with their day.

and yes, you twisted my words in the first thing i ever commented! i said, here’s a terf post so block if you want, and that’s also what i said was being kind because oif someone is being rude then people are in their right to block. this is social media, and it’s just blocking. you made it about being lesbophobic and misogonyistic.

i gave you serious answers to what you were saying, yet when you respond to what i say you boil it down to one sentence and make fun of me- which is once again rude, mean and honestly it just comes of as try to jab at me for not agreeing with you.

i talk about reading books without a anti trans bias. that’s not a reliable source, for anyone who doesn’t know, one of the groundrules when deciding if a source is credible or not is to see what the purpose is- aka if it’s biased.

also pointing out that you’re a lwayer in the tags as if that is relevant in any way.when you’re arguing for something your proffession or education should only be used to support that if you’re an expert on the matter. lawyers aren’t immune to proganda- no one is! you also ignore the fact that i call you out on being rude and belitteing me twice and act as if that didn’t happen. it comes of as condesending and that makes you look like you’re just saying all of this to make someone feel bad about themselves so they agree instead with you instead of you doing this for some kind of good, educational reason. (and i don’t mean educating me because i don’t believe that’s something you have to do in an argument online, but the people seeing your post and reblogs.)

if you are a lawyer, you have obviously had to first get educated and then get a career- therefor it’s safe to assume that you’re old enough to be able to be mature and stop acting manipulative. next time you try to debate someone over a screenshot of someone else, a tip is to not be so mean the entire time because it’s hard to listen to someone that puts you down!
