Nothing helps beat back mythologizing someone nearly as much as following them on tumblr. Like yeah you may have some cool projects & a large audience reach, but you're down here with the rest of us, so how big of a difference is there really?

reasons why i point at a character and go "thats a trans girl" in no particular order

- Particularly swagful women

- I latched on to this snarky unhappy little shit in my impressionable years and ive decided they're Like Me

- Samus Aran gets her own category because holy shit girl

- This "male" character's relationship with manhood is defined by pain and coercion. He finds solace in femininity wherever he can, but some part of him deep down is broken in a way he's so far failed to fix. Also has a 90% chance of having an awful relationship with his father.
