Every once in a while a new music genre gets invented and people from all different countries are like this slaps we got to start doing that and combine it with our own music styles and that's beautiful
There was a time when China got really into jazz and so did Ethiopia. Cambodia got really into Psychedelic Rock to the point that there's now an contemporary American band specialised in this style of music. There's a band from my hometown in Germany singing in Spanish and I know several early 20th century Japanese and Chinese artists were doing the same. Zambia had it's own Rock movement. Ska is from Jamaica but I know Japanese, Basque and Spanish ska bands. You can probably find hip hop and rap in all languages of the world by now. I watched an entire documentary on the history of South American rock and roll. There is a Cuban orchestra mixing Mozart and guajira. Finnish tango. German covers of Irish folk music. Blues from the Sahara.
Shoutout to all psychotics who get a double helping of "scary crazy person". Black psychotics. Brown psychotics. Psychotics with NPD, ASPD, and/or borderline personality disorder. Homeless psychotics. Psychotics who carry a weapon and/or are trained in self defense in order to protect themselves and/or others. Queer psychotics. Muslim psychotics. Anyone who I missed, too- there's a whole lot of us that get demonized twice, thrice, four or more times over.
We are surviving in a world that fears and hates us. But we are surviving.

I know SEVERAL afab nonbinary people who, as soon as they came out as nonbinary - immediately began dressing in ridiculous hyper-femme outfits they never would have worn before. A lot of people see this and say shit like “Theyfab” or say they are only nonbinary for attention. After all, look how femme they are.
But to me, this makes perfect sense. When you are forced into the category of “woman” against your will, femininity is a chore. It’s a job that you have. As soon as you say no, I’m not a woman, suddenly femininity isn’t your job anymore. It’s not a requirement. It’s just a fun hobby you can get into. Or a little treat sometimes.
honestly fuck the whole “your life basically ends when you turn 25/30” shit I’m so excited to be a lame ass middle aged old bitch. literally I’m so excited to use youth slang incorrectly on purpose and say shit that dates me immediately like telling stories about going to Blockbuster to pick out some movies on VHS. okay since apparently some of you missed health class or whatever: no, waxing or shaving your public hair isn't "cleaner" in fact, quite the opposite. pubic hair reduces friction during sex + exercise, keeps your genitals warm, and protects against stds. there are more health risks associated with removing pubic hair than there are keeping it- such as an increased risk of infections as well as general discomfort/irritation. pubic hair is a natural part of the human body and it shouldn't be viewed as shameful nor should anyone feel pressured to shave if they do not wish to.
realizing the beginning of this post came off way too confrontational (i was annoyed by cishet men in the comment sections who force their wives/girlfriends to shave). it’s okay if you didn’t already know this- sex education is not universal and, when it is taught, it may not be comprehensive or even factual. that’s why it’s super important to dispel these kinds of myths because otherwise they get taken as truths
I really genuinely like this site and it's original layout and premise. I like custom themes. I like mobile themes. I like how posting works. I like how tag search works. I like sending and receiving asks. I like how you can make your blog whatever the hell you want. I like this fucking platform and for some reason staff is vigorously sawing their limbs off like they have to but they're in the middle of a grocery store and everyone there is going "why the hell are you doing that?" and staff cries "you all want me to"
