People are losing lives while our government sits on their ass and does nothing. Take a stand to stop the violence. We need stricter gun laws and to reinstate the assault rifle ban. People do not need these types of weapons and it puts everyone at risk. You do not need an automatic weapon to protect yourself or your home/land. Semi-automatic and bolt-action weapons are perfectly suitable for self and home defense or hunting. Our nation is in serious trouble and it baffles me no one holding office can realize that. It’s true that we have the right to bear arms but it’s quite apparent we cannot trust people with automatic weapons. There is a serious mental health issue in America that we are choosing to ignore. That is why we need extensive background checks that include a mental diagnosis. Our people are suffering and we are broken. If we don’t start taking action now, I’m afraid we have a very grim future. The choice is yours, so you better make it a good one.
