“If worst comes to worst, even if the world turns against us. I’m going to save them.”
Coming into a fandom early and watching it become an angry clusterfuck
Being in a dormant fandom that suddenly comes alive again after a new book/movie
Don’t forget about those who come in the midst of a fandom war.
Accuracy at its best
Being in a fandom and not even knowing there’s a war going on…
all of this shit…lol
When You’re Not In The Fandom But You’re Nosy AF
When you get into a fandom only to discover it’s dead
This gets better every time I see it.
Being in a dead fandom…
Or being in such a tiny fandom that it feels like youre the only one
The accuracy hurts.
Being in a fandom that had a shit ending.
When you’ve been fangirling long enough, you’ve experienced all of the above.
Being in a fandom meant for kids.
This just gets better..
When you realize that joining the fandom has ruined you
Fandom hell in general
Yes.
This^^^ just… ALL OF THIS.
Being in so many fandoms that you don’t even know what’s going on
THIS IS THE SKULDUGGERY FUCKING PLEASANT FANDOM IN ONE POST!!
Trying to recruit people to your fandom
Annnnnnndddd it’s back
Being in a fandom which has so many antis
I’ve probably reblogged this before, but that was before these great additions.
Being in a fandom that actually works together
Why is this so true? All of it.
being in a fanbase but all your mutuals suddenly turn into Kpop blogs
I always enjoy it when a good post comes around again and has been improved by the reblogs like the years for a fine wine.
Being in a fandom when shit goes down and everyone has different opinions
When you are in a fandom and don’t care for others people opinion…..even if they are right…(believe me, I have met several of those)
Being in a fandom you never meant to join
I love this. and it’s gotten better
Getting into a fandom just for the drama and not for the actual thing
It keeps getting better
I think the common misconception is that being positive means being unrealistic. That those who are positive are not grounded in reality. That positivity means being naive of struggle and pain. That being positive shows a lack of critical thinking or education in the cruelties of the world.
But positivity is none of this. Positivity is a choice. Positivity is educated, realistic and fully aware of the depths of human cruelty but choosing to see light, kindness and strength nonetheless. Positivity is not the absence of critical thinking, it simply questions the negative. Positivity says ‘I’m aware of all the turmoil around me, but the best way for me to do something productive about it is by being grateful and happy for what is good in this world’.
I cannot describe how hard I laughed the first time I watched this scene. While Hak takes off in full battle mode Shinha just waltzes in all calm like and causally bops a guy one to the head and moves on.
Truly one of many great moments in the anime in my opinion.
Have faith that our blades will not shatter. Have faith that our hearts will not waiver, and even if our paths should diverge, we all share a heart of iron.
Happy (belated) birthday to Renji Abarai ; 08.31
‘Welcome brother’ were the last words of a Muslim who along with 48 others got killed today by a white Australian man in New Zealand, during Jummah prayers. May Allah grant sabar to the victims’ families and grant the highest place in Jannah to those who got martyred, Ameen. “Terrorism has no color, no religion, no race” Omar Imran
Specifically, the quote was ‘Salam’, which literally means 'peace’ and is used as 'welcome’.
The terrorist was greeted with 'peace’ and then opened fire.
Pray for our community.
While I’m here, these are just a few things I want followers who aren’t in New Zealand and don’t know what it’s like here to know:
1. The prime minister, and now most media outlets here, HAVE labelled it as an act of terrorism from someone with extremist views. No one is saying he’s mentally ill, and no one is saying he’s a lone wolf.
2. This is most likely the biggest terror attack in New Zealand in nearly 30 years. (Edit: its officially the worst mass shooting in the entire history of the country. I’m sick). This isn’t just another mass shooting for us, and we’re all panicked for a reason.
3. With 49 confirmed dead now, it’s guaranteed we’ll at least know someone who knows someone who was in that mosque. It’s a small country.
4. While they’re not perfect, the police here aren’t corrupt. They are here to help anyone who feels unsafe, and they will be taking measures to keep Muslims safe especially. Already they’re not letting white people into the mosque in my city.
Please, stay safe everyone, and please read reputable sources before reblogging every little thing you see about this.
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
As a Muslim girl myself, finding out about the terrorist attack in New Zealand has really shocked me. I can’t help but imagine that what if it was my brother and my dad who went to the mosque and never came back?
It saddens me so much that many people have lost great husbands, fathers, brothers, friends, role models.
So instead of showing my anger and hurt, I’ll say a prayer for those who have passed. Because as a Muslim, I know that passing away in a mosque is one of the most beautiful deaths, to pass away in the house of your Lord and to be worshipping Him or have the intention to worship Him and then not being able to fulfil that purpose is already a good deed and a reward written for you.
Bismillah-hir-rahman nir-raheem
May He give the world the strength to fight terrorism in every country, every religion, every culture.
May Allah grant those who have passed away in a form of martyrdom, a place in the highest ranks of Heaven.
May He give us all peace, blessings and strength.
May He also give the families of those who have passed away, sabr (patience) to deal with this horrific time of grieving.
May He give the rest of the Muslims in the world strength and sabr to deal with this news.
May He give us all strength to battle terrorism until it’s no more.
Ameen ♥️
Reblog with the tag “let’s stand with the families whose loved ones perished” ♥️
There was an attack at a mosque in New Zealand this morning. My twitter and instagram feeds are blowing up with people sending their thoughts and prayers, and talking about how heart broken they are. What I don’t understand is the fact that the terrorist group broadcasted what they were going to do, hours before they did it. How did no one find out? Time and time again, muslims are targeted- this is the third mass killing to take place in a mosque, first Quebec, then Paris, and now New Zealand. Its the same story in a different location. Its the same story, with different victims. Its the same story every. damn. time. Its 2019 for gods sake, get your shit together and learn to love each other for who they are- regardless of what religion they practice and god they believe in.
My fellow muslims, I stand in solidarity with you as we grieve those we lost today. May they find a place in heaven. ❤️
What happend in New Zealand was a terrorist terrorist attack !! To the scumbags of the media ; don’t you dare trying to change that . He’s not a mentally ill person, he’s a terrorist . And to those who think that Islamophobia isn’t real , Open your fucking Eyes and look , more than 40 Muslims have been killed so far !!. He’s a fucking racist terrorist and not a mass shooter like the media tries to describe him . he attacked Muslim because THEY ARE MUSLIMS. Praying for the Muslim community in New Zealand , May Allah have mercy on the dead.
“We will not let hate divide us”
But, weren’t we already divided? Doesn’t the most liberal of media still use the term ‘Islamist’ - as if Islam is inherently violent?
Arent the major political movements centered around excluding immigrants, Muslim immigrants?
Do you not attack politicians when they dare to stand up for oppressed Muslims? How many public figures have made islamophobic comments - as their brand - yet you still normalize them?
Did you not race to prove that the masjid attacked was peaceful - as if most are not? As if most Muslims are not?
We were already divided - but not by our actions as Muslims.
