Being a critical thinker doesn’t mean you have to be critical of every damn thing. You can be a critical thinker and also love something for the pure enjoyment of it even if you know in the back of your mind that it’s flawed. There is too little joy in this world to deprive yourself of any shred of it in the name of using critical thinking skills.

I feel like we as a society are growing apart from one another. We live in constant comparison which other, feeling smaller and smaller. We should come together and help each other grow, become a better person, but instead we choose to be rivals. We could learn from one another, but we rather stay quiet in solitude with our evils thoughts that slowly consume us. Every morning we wake up to a fake reality created by appearances. We lie to preserve our image and identity, as if we were defined by what others think of ourselves. We are all playing roles, terrified of being ourselves. Nobody wants to be different or authentic. If you let others define you, how can you truly be yourself? Don’t ever give that power to other people. Stop limiting your potential by worrying what other people think. Your life will improve as soon as you stop resisting. Be yourself, be brave.

Can the Grammy do this for Yemen and all of the other countries in a war right now? Like why is Ukraine only getting attention. People are starving in Yemen because of their war.
