intro..
hi, i’m beth. i wrote a song called ‘she gets the flowers’ about someone else getting the relationship that you wanted. it was inspired by a tiktok video of a girl called hannah klein who spoke about her own experience of this and it hit me like a tonne of bricks so i decided it needed to be a song. since then, so many people have connected with the song and shared their stories of not getting the flowers. i created a music video that tells some of these stories but i had so many submissions that i couldn’t fit them all in so i figured, why not set up a space where i can post them and anyone else who has an experience can share too? if i’ve learned one thing through all of this, it’s that more people have been through this exact feeling than you’d think. share as much or as little as you’d like, lets all heal together!
