My dad just told me that he took the family dog to the beach and the dog swam almost 300 meters out to sea without any thought or hesitation just into the water and straight out to sea and he almost had to call the coast guard

The dog is almost 12 years old and wasn’t even tired when he swam back to shore. What is our family dog running on holy shit

It’s also really well animated and uses frame-by-frame animation and it looks GORGEOUS

I’m so excited I’m currently in the process of upgrading my big computer for the first time ever, as after 5 years it’s now lagging behind quite a bit - I’ve got a new graphics card for it (RTX 2060 as it’s the only one I can find that is compatible with my motherboard and still available) and I’m getting a new screen that will actually have the refresh rate to deal with it. All so I can play Sonic Frontiers with the best settings I can, of all games

do you ever accidentally hit dislike on youtube and that message comes up telling you that they’ll tell the creator that you, personally, hated their video and then you feel such fucking guilt over your dumbass hands clicking the wrong button like fuck why is it like that i did it by accident

well, just finally made the jump to firefox after chrome decided to eat up my entire CPU to have four tabs open. I hate change but firefox is running really nicely and it’s so much better already

Auctober Day 06 - Stim Toys

I’ve only recently started getting stim toys. First I bought some fidget cubes, which I forgot about pretty quickly. They’re sometimes useful but seem to not work well for me.

My favourite stim toy at the moment isn’t officially a stim toy - it’s a toy leatherleaf slug made of soft fabric and filled with beans.

I like holding it or throwing it back and forth between my hands.

(also I got the slug plushie from @/spirellity they make really good plushies of slugs and worms and frogs and things, go check them out)

Auctober Day 05 - Music

I listen to many kinds of music, but my favourite genre is metal, usually power metal. I listen to Blind Guardian, DragonForce, and Judas Priest. I listen to way more bands than that but those are my top three.

I’m also a big fan of Infected Mushroom, which is psy-trance. Very good for drawing background music.

I also really like EDM, drum + bass, dubstep... I really like Sullivan King and Black Tiger Sex Machine.

Looking at what my favourite music is for this made me realize that my music taste is “music you put on to make people go away”.

Auctober Day 04 - Animal Friends

I love animals!

I grew up in a family with five cats, two dogs, and chickens.

Now I own my own cat (called Austin), and own hundreds of snails, lots of shrimp, and lots of catfish. I love them all.

Auctober Day 03 - Collections

I collect lots of things! My main collections are plushies and Nanoblocks!

I was given all the store display Nanoblocks from a family friend’s shop and I’ve been in love with Nanoblocks ever since! I now have at least a hundred models, not all built at once.

(I don’t have a current photo of my Nanoblocks as I have no display shelf)
