- i did not try to imitate eren and mikasa's kiss. I was out of inspo and I saw this picture reference on deviantart (theposearchives). as i said at the beginning the idea was with a nice bg scenario
- my main inspo was the videogame GRIS which is a videogame about the process of grieving. One last kiss before moving on. btw please play it or listen to the ost bc it's GOLD
- colors were definitely inspired by this scene, it meant so much to me ;; like hange risking their life for levi is so emotional aaaaa
- clothes i chose were from the bonfire thing
if you read, thanks!
I think they should make a fighting game where all of the characters are from the public domain

Soooooo an F-22 Raptor just got its entire product line's first confirmed air-to-air kill... against that Chinese weather balloon the news was freaking out about
The F-22 Raptor program began in the early 90s and has cost a total of, according to one source, $32.4 billion dollars. It has been by most metrics a complete failure which has failed to produce a viable multirole air superiority fighter. It has - by the act of replacing certain obsolete aircraft but then being cancelled after the aircraft it replaced were retired - punched holes in the USAF's lineup that the F-35, its successor, cannot fill. It also has the dubious distinction of its production process being so monstrously fucked that it would, at this point, cost less money to invent a new aircraft than to restart F-22 production.
Until today, it had zero confirmed kills. It now has one - an unarmed, unmanned balloon.
In a very real way, the United States just paid $32.4 billion to pop a balloon.
i saw someone critiquing the fact that Kathleen has a very soft voice but i love it. a soft spoken woman is not a harmless woman.

So. Ork! This is a very different type of Tokusatsu than I usually delve into, and I’m very glad I did!
To briefly go over what this is, because I wager most people won’t know: Ork is a very recent movie that came out a mere couple of weeks ago, and is a completely independent project! It’s not from any established company or as far as I’m aware any professionals in the field; this is as far as I can tell a group of younger aspiring artists trying to make their own project. As a result, you do have to be aware of that amateur aspect going into it – the whole thing is shot on an iPhone, the acting… could use a lot of work, and the dialogue and cinematography isn’t absolute top tier or anything. You watch this and you are watching a group of non-professionals’ passion project!
And knowing that going into it I think they done a damn good job here! Ork very effectively captures the usual draw of modern Tokusatsu with a strong drama between two men fighting for what they want to protect, with some downright gorgeous suits that are arguably the highlight of the film drawing your eye and making for some surprisingly effective fight scenes. For the first half or so I wasn’t completely into it but by the end they managed to have me fully engaged in the story they were telling with a bunch of clever twists and turns towards the end; and an absolutely delightful villain hamming it up and mocking the two main characters’ journeys.
I think it is just a solid short movie for what it is, and I think it’s worth giving a shot and showing support to some passionate guys new to the field with some lofty dreams, you know? If you’re interested in having a look, I’ll link the movie below - it’s free on youtube, with english subs even provided by fansubbers! - and I again think it’s worth giving a shot. It’s only 45 minutes and I think they manage to pull off a lot in that runtime!

unfortunately i have silver bear brainworms again because there’s something extremely delightful about tommy oliver’s AI-YAH SI HI-YAAAAAAHs coming out of this design
anyway this counts as tommy oliver being a silver ranger
yes! he plays silver bear in an episode that’s obviously an affectionate parody of power rangers
