actually it’s not my head canon
in the cookie run comic series, there was mentioned of fall of cookie kingdom and canonically tiger lily and princess cookie’s are twin sisters. Their mother, Queen cookie perished during destruction of the kingdom.
Every cookies know that there’s long lost princess but they don’t know who it is. During the chaos, King cookie saved princess cookie and escaped but while tiger lily cookie was rescued by Moonlight cookie.
To prevent further destruction Moonlight cookie used most of her magic and need to sleep very long time to gain her magic back. Since she need to recharge her magic by sleeping, she called Fire spirit cookie to raise tiger lily because she trusts him.
Also he has no idea about the destruction of cookie kingdom and everyone blamed him.
Her last word to FSC was
“Take the little one to somewhere isolated and safe… please watch over her until she’s grown.”
So he took her to jungle.
He didn’t let tiger lily to see him (I dunno why I guess he didn’t wanted her to be attached to him?) He was hidden from her but prevented any dangers to near her.
For instead how did tiger lily met butter tiger?
He tried to eat her but got beat up by FSC.
Couple of years later tiger lily grown up and she attempted to eat an unfamiliar plant, FSC shouted her (still hidden from view) that it’s an poisonous plant.
Tiger lily replied “ Oh! It’s you Jungle guardian spirit, you’re always there for me!”
He thoroughly explains to her that which one is poisonous and which one is not. After couple of more years watching over her FSC realize that she no longer needs him and went back to Dragon’s Valley.
So I draw FSC as a fire dad because of this chapter of the comic. I thought it was kinda sweet yet lonely.
