I’ve mentioned on here before that I don’t really like horses (as in I am uncomfortable being physically around them, much less riding them. I know how and I have but I don’t *like* it. I think they’re aesthetically beautiful animals to admire at a distance/in art but. Don’t want to be with them), but my brother and father *love* horses. So they get asked a lot why I don’t, and it came up on a call today and basically:
Me: Well, yeah, it’s because- Brother: Oh probs [traumatic experience we had as kids with a horse] Me: Actually no, that one didn’t really scar me it was- Dad: Oh I know! Anyway yeah they’re fine to look at and I’m a competent enough rider but between that and a close friend of my friends (I knew her but barely) who literally died five years ago due to a horse accident and left my friends in horrendous grief..................... I don’t like horses guys.
