At almost two miles below the surface, the Ghost Shark is an unworldly presence. The Ghost Shark propels itself through the water with large pectoral fins. It uses its giant eyes to spot shellfish, then cracks them open with large grinding plates in its mouth. Not only are the spines on the top of its body razor sharp, they’re loaded with venom that causes intense pain in its victims. The Ghost Shark is truly a prehistoric animal; a haunting relic from 400 million years ago, when fish with jaws first appeared in the ocean.

My fellow Vampire Dies in No Time fans, just tripped over some unexpected John lore - the exact type of armadillo he is! How did I discover this?
…look, I was watching cute armadillo videos on youtube, this series makes you care very deeply about armadillos, we all know this, moving on.
The point is, turns out? There is only one type of armadillo that can curl up into a perfect ball, and it’s the South American Three-Banded Armadillo. Who looks just a wee bit familiar, wouldn’t you say?
Right approximate colour, shape, and even has a very furry belly, not to mention fitting the pre-existing lore of where he and Draluc met.
And if you count, John does indeed have exactly three bands in his shell!
I don’t know if this is already common knowledge or not, but I couldn’t risk the chance that it wasn’t widely known, because it’s John and he’s very important.

Need to give that some deliberation, and not just for morose reasons
Saw a thing that was like "if you have over x amount of followers you should just remake cause it's nothing but trouble", and I'm just like... literally hit that recently, and it's same as it ever was
Same amount of notes, same amount of interaction, it's not much different than 10 followers
Now it may speak to the quality of the people following me. None of you send me any kind of nasty messages or anything. Like, I've got no idea of what counts as a large number of followers on here, and I honestly don't really care. All I know is I don't get any of the harassment or anything like that my friend got when she was tumblr famous
So I suppose my point is just pointing out that if you're following me, I think you behave decently towards me, and you should feel good about not being a huge jerk for no reason
Also, there's people I see show up in my notes a lot who I like, and who seem cool, that I just lack the energy to say much of anything directly to. But like, if you're liking stuff from me regularly, assume I'd recognize your name and icon and that I like you
Just some thoughts brought on by that post cause it's like, you gave a specific number I happen to have reached and I don't know why it's different for me, but everyone's just super chill. I just ended up with good followers

To be clear, that's not me saying I shouldn't have this stable a situation, if anything there should be help out there to help me get things fully stabilized and help me find ways to be a productive member of society (vocational rehab is not that, they're basically just like "have you tried getting a job at walmart)
What I'm saying is it's super fucked up when people doing everything they can, through no fault of their own, end up with evictions and not being able to get groceries and shit
It's not about me having too much, it's about everyone else having too little (and should I ever get my shit together I'd like to try and help others get their slice of the pie)
